Windows license key

Thank you very much to jojolaguitare and pistouri, I tested both proposals by copying and pasting (to avoid making mistakes), namely: wmic path -------- as well as powershell --------- : it still didn't work (for the cmd box on W10 type cmd in the run box after right-clicking on the Windows icon, it works just as well as Windows + R).
But with pistouri's suggestion (ob_6cf475_getproductkey.vbc) it's immediate and simpler. I saved the key and printed it out just in case of future problems!
So thank you both for all the effort you put in, and priority (in my opinion?) to pistouri's solution (ob -----.vbc) which is immediate! Well done and thank you again.

Click on file at the top left and "save as"

click on list and choose "All files"

Name the file (e.g. windows key vbs)

Choose the file destination (usually on the desktop)

Finally click "save" and then close Notepad.

Click on the S-shaped icon on the desktop. The activation key is displayed.

Warning! If you have installed Windows 10 you will have the key for that version and not for Windows 7.
