Neuf/SFR deletion of club-internet email

Hello,
I have had the same main email address with Club Internet for eight years because I subscribed to a pay-as-you-go plan back then that I haven't used in a long time.
I can't help but send you the letter I received, after which I had to change my email address. A piece of advice: avoid getting an email address from an internet service provider, Free if I must.
Letter dated December 18:
Dear Subscriber,
Due to the merger of Club Internet and SFR, the two brands have decided to harmonize
their offers and services by launching the SFR neufbox. We regret to inform you that your current Low-Speed offer cannot be maintained.
We will proceed to the closure of your subscription and your @club-internet.fr email addresses
on 10/03/2009.
We recommend that you back up your emails before 10/03/2009.
Depending on the eligibility of your line, you may, for example, benefit from the SFR neufbox offer
and enjoy High-Speed Internet up to 20 mega, unlimited Phone calls to landlines in over 60 destinations, Digital HD Television with access
to more than 75 channels, for only €29.90 per month**!
Your Customer Service is available if needed at 0892 01 1000*.
We assure you that your satisfaction remains at the heart of our priorities.
See you soon
Your Customer Service.
========================================================
Letter dated December 19 [they realized their commercial mistake...]
Dear subscriber,
Following an error on our part, you received on December 18, 2008,
an email from "Neuf-CI Customer Service" with the following subject:
"Important: concerning your subscription!".
This email was not intended for you. [I say it was, but you thought it through...]
Rest assured, your subscription and @club-internet.fr email addresses
will, of course, not be closed on 10/03/2009 as mentioned
in this email.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and assure you that your satisfaction remains at the heart of our priorities.
See you soon,
Your Customer Service.

I haven't had any issues with the switch to Neuf, and I'm keeping the courrier club.fr.

Hello
I'm almost in the same situation. I'm being asked to return the club box at my own expense and to subscribe to SFR to keep the email address.
Do you have any news? Thank you.

Hello everyone, as some of you may know, on May 28th, Club Internet subscribers will automatically transition to SFR. They will keep the same offer they had with Club, the billing will be bi-monthly instead of monthly. In short, we will also keep the same email box and gain full access to SFR. Additionally, we will also be able to cancel for free within 4 months following the transition if we are not satisfied. This is what is officially stated, and I’m sharing this because I received an email from SFR on my Club account. I will keep the same offer and will be transitioned automatically to them on May 28th without changing anything.

Excellent the response from "sfr": "Any Club Internet customer whose plan has evolved to a Neuf ADSL offer or an SFR ADSL offer or Low Speed retains all of their Club Internet emails."

So anyone who refuses the migration will see their mailboxes deleted!

I had already faced the problem with club-internet deleting my mailbox dupont@club-internet.fr because I changed my plan (while staying with them), then they gave me a new email dupont1@club-internet.fr. I was never able to recover the first one, supposedly because the login was already in use. Of course, it was mine, but I couldn't retrieve it; I requested it in vain for over a year!

I, who refuse the new "offers" from sfr and neuf telecom, which would cost me much more, will now see my email account deleted, for the simple reason that I do not want to "migrate" like a pigeon cooing!

Thank you SFR and Neuf!

P.S.: trying the very funny joke when they call you to propose a change:
me: "But will the offer really be identical?"
them: yes, exactly the same
- there will be no cancellation fees if I want to leave
- oh yes, €45
- but with club-internet I don't have any
- yes, but with offer X you will have TV via ADSL
- I don't have a TV at home, I watch it directly on my computer through a TV tuner
- anyway, you will have to change sooner or later

According to Club New, the rumor that Club addresses will be deleted is false. As of March 10, it will no longer be possible to create a Club Internet address, and the offers will no longer be available. Those who have stayed with Club, like me for example, will be able to continue to benefit from their offer. In short, to put it simply, there are three possible choices for current Club subscribers:

1) Migrate to SFR

2) Stay with Club (except for low-speed users who have automatically migrated to SFR; the SFR TV offer no longer exists)

3) Leave and change operators (which I am considering doing)

Basically, with Club, there are only two active offers left: internet and telephony

Personally, since the announcement that Club will disappear, which in my eyes has already happened, I haven't had any line cuts or any issues. The only problem I've had is with a salesperson from SFR whom I basically made understand that he should look elsewhere if I was there. In short, since then, no more calls, my account is still active, and I still have my operational offer

The Gaulois Free is quite good in terms of offers; the community is very active, especially for the help forum which mainly serves as a file exchange (a sort of Megapload for Free subscribers), but personally, even without Free, if you look well on the net, you can find things like that and much more complete. Anyway, it’s true that Orange is very expensive; I didn’t say otherwise about that, but around here, their network is very stable and especially great. By the way, Free, Club, and Neuf are the only four that are very stable in my area; the others are either scams or the speed is terrible (I am talking about real speeds, not theoretical ones, which are never true since you would have to be directly connected to the terminal to get it, and even then).

My internet club migration to SFR is a disaster.

Yes, the migration is a mess!

3 weeks of downtime, a lot of phone calls to Morocco, Tunisia, and Central Europe (it's cheaper for labor). With people who don't always understand you, it’s normal!

Anyway, after receiving it, the speed is slower than agreed!

And it's impossible to modify the personal pages, the password no longer works even though I can retrieve my emails. This migration is really terrible!

Personally, I have been subscribed to Club Internet since February 2006, and my automatic transition went smoothly with no connectivity issues overall. The firmware for my Club Box updated itself, and so far, I have no complaints about SFR as my new ISP. However, I miss Club Internet; I found it to be excellent even though I faced some ADSL issues at the beginning. Over time, the network became stable in my area, the speed was acceptable, and the technical support was decent and professional in my opinion. But we'll see how SFR performs over time.

PERSONALLY, I have been a subscriber for .... 10 years ...
what's particularly interesting is knowing how to regain access to the email account when you've been stuck for weeks and the 10.77 is useless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
other than that, SFR works.

The connection is slow, slower than before I had unlimited telephony, (I'm not the only one in this case), but there's nothing to say, they claim it works... Pages take forever to open.
I managed to open my C-I mailbox, as I mentioned, they added 2 letters to my password... I wonder where they got that from, I only use it for Gmail where it requires 8 letters, honestly they see everything we do. Only I can't access my account and everything that follows. Whether I try their coordinates or mine having changed since I arrived, nothing wants to open.
In 15 days I will have a response to the 4 letters I sent them but I put everything in the same envelope, let's see if they will pretend not to understand.
Many cannot access their accounts and I have a friend who told me she had the same problem.
All this to make us call, it must bring them money with these numbers. If we're 1/2 hour at least with a tech (if he still knows his job well), 30 mins x €0.34 = whereas they don't want to answer the questions asked. It's the principle that revolts me.
Anyway, this is France with its mess. The Prefect won't deign to respond to my email (personal), the CAF to which I ask 2 questions, similarly only responds to 1! Comical, I don't know if I will get used to this new rudeness.

Dear fellow sufferers, I experienced the same thing and I agreed to migrate to SFR since I was assured that I would benefit from the same conditions as with CI. Moreover, I was promised a 20% discount on the SFR subscription for 6 months and one month of free service. After multiple requests for clarification by phone and email, it turned out that the technical/commercial conditions were not at all the same. Furthermore: My new line was activated on January 6, 2009, and I already received a bill for January and February. Naturally, I contest this, but since I am canceling at the same time, no one could/would tell me if I would be refunded, as they said the free month was supposed to come later... So I have no solution to your problem, I can only warn you. As for me, I already have a new internet provider and my cancellation with SFR is in progress. Too bad for the fees, but there is no way I am staying with those people.

Just for info, who have you decided to go to? I'm looking into it because I don't want to migrate! If only they were competent...

Hello, oppose the withdrawal because we had the unpleasant surprise of being debited €101 from our account for the non-return of the modem, even though we sent it back via registered mail. Since then, I've been spending my life on the phone where I'm treated like an idiot and without any politeness. So please oppose this with your bank because I don't know if I will be reimbursed despite my good faith. I'm waiting for 15 days, otherwise I will file a complaint with the court. Good luck.

Same for me, I have a guesthouse and my bookings depend 80% on my email address listed on all my printed materials. Neuf informed me of the permanent closure of my emails linked to my "Libre Access" low-speed Club Internet subscription, and at the bottom of the page, it stated that if you were also subscribed to a Neuf or SFR ADSL offer, Club Internet emails would not be affected by this closure. Being with Alice, I called SFR at 1077, and they confirmed that if I canceled my Alice subscription and took a Neufbox, I could keep my Club email address. So I did, and the result is: I owe my subscription to Alice until November; an IT technician came three times to install this Neufbox because I was told nonsense over the phone; my club email has been permanently deleted; I haven't received a single reservation for 15 days... and it seems that SFR's complaint service doesn't care... Well done on the brand consolidation!!!

I have a type from SFR who asked me to switch to their SFR Box offer, but I refused. However, I don't know if that will cut off my internet connection. What's strange is that I still have access to my Club Internet account (email, support...). After that, I don't know if Club Internet will disappear; I have a doubt. I haven't received any mail or email to inform me about it. Anyway, I'm going to call them to find out because it's strange.

Well, here’s what we know: by March, the low-speed Club service will disappear, and then there's also the Club 3 offer that will vanish, leaving only internet and telephony at Club. There you go. But we should expect a migration to SFR afterward. As for me, I personally won’t go to SFR, that’s for sure. I hope I’ve answered your questions.

I don't know if low-speed internet clubs will disappear, but what I do know is that SFR also has its low-speed options and if you migrate, they allow you to keep your email for 4 to 6 months (I can't remember exactly) or they can allow you to transfer your CI emails to an @sfr.fr address for 4 to 6 months, giving you time to make arrangements regarding your emails.

As for low-speed options, 20 hours ==> 7 euros
100 hours ==> 20 euros

Regarding SFR's offers, they are almost similar to those of CI.

However, if you refuse the migration, you indeed need to make arrangements for your email before cancellation.

Don't migrate to SFR! Trust me, I’ve suffered the consequences... Promises during the migration of a 20% discount, first bill: no discount, therefore, call to the hotline (charged, of course). Second surprise upon receiving the first bill: the billing is now every two months, so from now on, you have to pay for two months... To top it all off, channels that were part of the "basic" package have disappeared (ab moteur and boomerang). On the other hand, no worries, we're contacted by SFR mobile every month to see if we would like to sign up for a mobile offer.... AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Positive point: cancellation with SFR is free, so I think I’ll quickly leave for Orange or Free...

I’m just adding by quoting Mag:
"My new line was activated on January 6, 2009, and already I am receiving a bill for January and February. Naturally, I contest this, but since I'm canceling at the same time, no one has been able/willing to tell me if I will be refunded, because according to them, the free month was supposed to come later..."

Yes, normal, perfectly normal, they offer you a free month but in a year... I can no longer endorse the business practices of those people, (it's kind of the commercial spirit of Canal+) it’s a shame!!!!

The Gaulish person, for me, I also think about leaving if Club Internet disappears for good. Personally, between Orange and Free, I recommend Orange. Sure, it's expensive, but the network is stable and they don't hassle you with their customer service. And at the slightest issue, they come directly to your home. But the price is the only negative point with them; the services are there. Free is good too, but their weak point is mainly that they don't have any retail outlets, and their hotline isn't great either. But if they do have excellent advantages in their offers, I personally lean towards Orange.

Yes, the commercial gesture only appears on the invoice that follows, not on the current invoice (and not in a year either), but if you cancel in the meantime, the commercial gesture is canceled (which is normal because you are asking not to be with them anymore), and this is the case with all operators!

I don't see the problem if you pay every 2 months what you pay every month; in any case, you will pay at some point, so...

In any case, Club-Internet doesn't really exist anymore; they had their offers that no one else proposed. Each operator has its advantages and disadvantages. Now you just have to make a simple choice: either you migrate to SFR with its advantages and disadvantages, or you look elsewhere, knowing that you will never find the same offer that CI proposed.

There you go, there you go.

For my part, I am with SFR, and it suits me very well.

Have a good evening.

After an hour and twenty-seven minutes of transfers between their various hotline services, I give up. I've been with SFR for three months, and I still don't have my .sfr email. Club Internet continues to charge me money in parallel with SFR, Boomerang and AB Motor have disappeared from my channel package, and I need to subscribe to two channel packs to get them back, which is an additional €21.80 per month. The 20% discount still wasn't activated (I had already called in January for this reason).

I'm switching to Free (Orange is too expensive for my minimum wage salary) which allows me to fully benefit from their offers (HD cable, PLC, twice as many channels as SFR...) and the Free community is really an amazing thing where many things are possible. So for the same price, significantly more options. I am stopping the automatic payments to SFR/Neuf and Club Internet without notifying them (we'll use the same methods as them, after all).

Good evening,

We understand your comments and concerns regarding the future of Club Internet subscribers' email addresses, which is why we would like to provide some clarification on the SFR Neufbox offer available to Club Internet clients.
Email addresses, as well as the contents of the mailboxes, will not be deleted, contrary to some rumors. Any Club Internet client whose offer has evolved to an ADSL Neuf offer or an ADSL SFR or Low speed offer retains all of their Club Internet emails. All these clients will be able to continue using their Club Internet email addresses as long as they remain SFR ADSL or Low speed clients.
For technical aspects (email client configuration ...), the number to contact is 10 77.

Hello!
I’m really upset with SFR because as a subscriber to Club-internet for X years, I migrated to SFR like a good sheep because of its takeover. I was assured that I would keep my Club-internet email, which is super important for my work, and now I can't connect because SFR or Club-internet have wiped my inbox. The two operators are passing the buck over this huge mistake; I spent 2 hours on the phone with them without any solution for me!!! Everywhere I read that this migration to SFR guarantees access to Club-internet email, but that’s false!!! This is a disaster for me as I’ve lost all my contacts and documents due to incompetence! I will seek damages. If anyone is in the same situation as me, please contact me.

I am in exactly the same situation as you, frustrated for 4 days, several technical calls... various manipulations... still nothing, while the communication cost increases, and this without results... then I am told to wait, that I won’t lose my emails... another email address, among nine, is provided to me... but that does not give me the emails of my contacts... I don’t know what to do anymore... should I ask for another provider!!!!!! If you can give me some advice, I thank you.

Personally, I don't know why you're stressing out over ISP ADSL emails, especially since you know that sooner or later it will be deleted if you have to cancel or move, for example...

While you can have multiple emails on websites like laposte.net, msn, gmail... which work much better than those from various ISPs like Free, Alice, Orange, AOL, Club Internet.

Personally, I've had a laposte.net email for 4 years, I’ve never had a problem with it, and I've had another hotmail.fr for years, and I've never had any issues either.

Moreover, the emails offered by Club Internet have a limited capacity... with laposte.net you get 2 gigabytes!!!

Hello everyone,
I have been a customer since 9/98 with club-internet and I was downloading my bill until October 08, but since the beginning of the year, I can no longer access my account; the password no longer works
so I called 1070 and 1077 at least 10 times, it's a scam and when I ask for a duplicate bill, they charge 5 euros!!!!
How do I retrieve my VAT?
On the other hand, there are no problems with the direct debits
I don't know what to do anymore.

Hello KOUKAI,

To receive your invoices at home, all you need to do is log into your account, click on "payment and invoice", then on "subscribe to e-invoicing" and on this page click on cancel.

From that moment on, you will no longer be able to see your invoices online but you will receive them all at home!!

As for the current invoice that you still want to receive, call customer service and request a duplicate invoice... that is free.

Don't forget, don't ask for your last invoice but a duplicate of your last invoice...

And let me know if it worked.
0
lolote > lolote

Oh sorry, I didn't see that you no longer had the password for your account space. Call the technical or sales service, they will take the necessary steps to send a new one to your contact email...

When you receive it, however, make sure to respect the case because there are uppercase and lowercase letters.

There you go, there you go. But the story of the duplicate still stands.

Hello everyone,

I just switched from Club-Internet (a subscriber since 1999) to SFR last week. From the time I called, it took barely a week, with just 2 days of downtime, everything really went smoothly from A to Z, much to my surprise!!!
I was able to check my bill, €14.77 for the next 2 months and then about €24.60/month for 4 months...perfect!
Moreover, I keep my Club-Internet email address and I can still access my account with my password...
Always have competent and very efficient representatives...and yet since 1999, it hasn't always been the case, except when I went directly to the headquarters.
I have already received very quick and clear responses directly by email or by phone from SFR's services...???
So, I really don't understand all these messages of dissatisfaction, I encourage you to take the necessary steps with SFR to get your fair share, just like I did.

Hello, how did you do it? I've been down for a month, after multiple calls, I am a club internet customer switched to 9, then SFR... I was finally fixed, but I can't get my credentials, I can't access my email box, etc... I'm fed up
and they keep deducting from my account
best regards

Alright for the identifiers, they call everything an identifier, instead of password it's identifier. In total, I have 4 and don't know which one to use to open something. Moreover, having changed as they say, nothing wants to open. Additionally, C-I changed my 4-letter password to 6 letters, hence the impossibility of accessing my email. Their response: we tried it works, try on another computer, etc. Fortunately, I had the idea to add those 2 additional letters because sometimes they ask for 6 letters as a password.
Since the mistake comes from them, I don't see why I should call to spend half an hour discussing and end up with a grouch or someone who doesn't speak French well, making us repeat things back and forth.
A bunch of clowns!

Hello,

Here’s what not to do when you need an email address: you should never use the ISP email addresses!

After that, it’s a matter of professional ethics...

P.S.: Gmail, La Poste... provide very functional email addresses.
0
Coanca

Hello,
Why never take the email addresses from ISPs?
I've been with Wanadoo, Tiscali, and now C-I with no issues with my email addresses that I set up on my email client, except for the official one where all the junk mail ends up.
However, there's a big problem—they can't manage to respond to my postal mail to find out how to access my bills and my phone service. When we ask them 3 questions, it's too much; they only answer one.
Their association is not a success! It's a complete mess!

Hello
the club addresses or others should remain valid and usable, of course; but how can they be modified, deleted, or just change the password? They are nowhere to be found on the SFR site, despite letters and 1077, including a dreadful (weak word) interlocutor on Sunday evening, but anyway
Question: migration of club-internet or other addresses to the SFR site, would you do it?
HOW do you change the password or delete your old non-SFR addresses?
THANK YOU
my setup -sic is tough, little fatties, and cuts, and that, the nonexistent ones inaccessible on the site for club addresses or others migrated to SFR
thank you for your response, if possible: modifying or deleting old email addresses = ?, if not listed on the SFR site ....
kind regards

I am also very upset with SFR.
I was assured that nothing would change.
As a result, there were disruptions for a month on my phone line, which was cut off during the migration.
Phone charges incurred from consecutive calls to technicians were not taken into account.
An automatic withdrawal of 59 euros was made from my account without prior notice.
We are now forced to pay 2 months in advance instead of monthly.
For me, this changes everything; unexpected withdrawals like this put me in a difficult position. Why not a 6-month advance payment? What should we do? If we accept payment spreading, it’s usually for good reasons...
Moreover, I just realized that SFR Neufbox also charged me a setup fee for the automatic withdrawal, even though it had already been done a year prior. This is shameful and more than disappointing.
I feel like I've been trapped; as a customer for over 10 years with SFR, I am outraged. This way of manipulating loyal customers is disgraceful.

Now, my question is legal.
Is it mandatory to pay by automatic transfer?
I would like to pay by bank transfer to manage my bills; is that possible?
What do you think?
Are there others in this situation?
Have they contested this, and with whom?
Thank you.
0
Anonymous user

You can pay by bank transfer; you need to send your bank details to SFR by mail, and they will change the payment method. When I was with Club, I always paid by bank transfer, and it didn't change for me despite the migration.

Migration, you say. Just network outages since this morning. With every upgrade or migration, it's a NIGHTMARE. Who can we complain to in order to be seriously listened to?

Will the club internet page be there, which email should we keep? I'm not talking about the modem and the links with the POP and vague explanations. As for 1077, LET'S PAY AND WAIT FOR IT TO IMPROVE, you said TELEWORK, we can just die...!

I am neither with Club nor with SFR
I was with Club a long time ago and had a lot of trouble cancelling: they kept charging me for no reason!
But I have a lot of problems with friends who migrated to SFR and who no longer
receive my emails sent to Club...
