Telephone line voltage

Hello,
I would like to know the various voltages found on a telephone line as well as their forms (DC/AC) 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    On a a classic France Télécom line: 48 volts direct current and the ringing signal is 80 volts alternating current.
    On an ADSL line, there are frequencies, but I don't know the value which should be close to 0.
