Hello,
I just ordered a Nokia 2680 mobile phone for my son for Christmas and I can't seem to open it to check if it's working properly. The instructions say to press on the top of the back cover to open it, but that's impossible. I'm afraid of breaking the casing; also, it's a slide so the other side slides but absolutely not the back cover... THANK YOU for your help, it's silly but still, I find the opening system a bit difficult! Does anyone have any advice to give me?
Thanks.

Basically, it's like this: the cover has to slide down, but it's not easy to do because it slides poorly. At least the phone won't lose its battery by itself!
I do it like this: with my right hand, I push the upper part of the cover (black) down, and with my left hand, I hold the support (light gray) at the bottom of the phone on which the cover slides

how to open the small metal cover that covers the SIM card???
Jj
It is not in the small metal square where you should put the SIM card, you need to slide it in the top right of the battery compartment. (There is "sim" written just above)
