Go check the Nvidia website to see if you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

Well, I've already tried, but I can't get the new one. I download it, and when I install it, it tells me I don't have the right Vista 32-bit material or something like that, even though that's what I have. :s

So I've retested the bug and it's still there; when an enemy chases me, it glitches for about 30 seconds, then it resumes, and as soon as I kill it, it does the same... it's super annoying :s

But did you set the game parameters to a minimum?

yeah, I set everything to minimum

Uh, did you actually go into the game to set the config to minimum or did you go on the NVIDIA panel or something like that?

In the game, I launched the game, then I went to options, then I went to graphic options and set everything to the lowest.

Erf I'm stuck here. It might simply be due to the computer's configuration or because it's a laptop. Do you have other games to test just to see if it's happening with all the games or just with this one?

It's clear that you'll need to make some big sacrifices to get it running, especially with Vista, which already demands a lot of resources... Your processor and graphics card seem light, especially since it's a laptop... I know it's tough, but I'm afraid it might really be a struggle for Assassin's Creed.
If you want to be sure about your PC's capabilities, download 3Dmark 06 available on this site, it will quickly test your components and give you a good idea.

Well, it's the configuration that's not holding up. I think..

Go to https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri

Choose the game Assassin's Creed, and check the result.

Okay, but does it affect the fact that it bugs because it's a cracked game?

Rhooo the cracky games, it's evil :/ Do what we told you and tell us the results, go check the game patches, I just saw a guy who had this issue (on an old thread), well he downloaded the patches for Assassin's Creed, and it worked perfectly again. Just take a look a little further down =)

So I scanned and I only got two where it didn't pass: Video Card Driver Version (DirectX) and Sound Card Driver Version.

Download DirectX 10, but first uninstall it and reinstall it. It could come from the cracked game at 70%. Don’t you have a friend who doesn’t have the cracked game?? Go buy the legit game.... it’s not that much.... 20€ at most.

Alright, I’m off to bed, good night, I’ll be back tomorrow =)

It's all good, it's working. There’s just one info point: there's a point that doesn’t work, it’s the CPU.
