Where to watch "The L Word" season 1?

Well, I'm arriving years later, but it's hard to remain silent when you see the lack of information (or stupidity?): it is illegal to watch series or movies via streaming or downloading for free on sites like Megaupload (the most famous one): it infringes copyright, intellectual property rights, etc. The risks are low (even though new laws are currently being discussed), and everyone does it, but that doesn't change the fact that it's illegal. If these are films you only want to see once, there are video rental shops everywhere, generally well-stocked, and for a small fee, you get the comfort of a DVD, with menus, language options, high quality, bonus features... Downside: you obviously have to wait for the DVD to be released in France.

On are still allowed to watch movies or series on the internet. Do you know how much a DVD player and DVDs cost? When you don't have the means, it's not easy.
