I can't see what I'm writing.

Question

Hello, I successfully installed a skin but the issue is that when I write to one of my contacts, my text only appears once the message is sent... it's not convenient not seeing what you are writing!!!!!! Please let me know how to proceed to resolve this little problem!!!!

I am using version 8.5 on W XP with Firefox 3 and I have exactly the same problem and I haven't installed any skin.

If possible, try to download and then install the new version of Windows Live Messenger, here is the link:
https://www.clubic.com/telecharger-fiche19367-windows-live-messenger.html
choose WLM beta 9.
Then you can find your wallpaper (make sure to back them up before changing versions)
Unless you're already using that version? In which case, try reverting to version 8.5.

Also, take the opportunity to switch to Firefox 3 if you feel like it:

Salut, j'avais le même souci que toi et je viens de trouver la solution. J'ai supprimé mon skin et j'ai reconnecté mon MSN et plus de problème, mes lettres réapparaissent comme avant. Méfions-nous des skins.
