Problem opening kirikou game PC

Hello,
I'm a bit disgusted... it's been almost a year since I bought the PC game Kirikou and the Wild Animals. I install it and when I want to play, I can't open it. There's a message saying the protection system couldn't validate the disk... I've written and called EMME's technical support several times...
They tell me it could be:
my configuration but it's okay after checking
that Avast might be blocking it but I disabled it and it's the same
then it could be that the CD is damaged but it's new!!! I didn't keep the receipt for the warranty
or my computer, and I should try it on another computer to see... I don't know anyone and I'm fed up?
What should I do? Have you also had this problem? If so, how did you resolve it...? Otherwise, if someone has an idea, it would be welcome because I paid and I'm disgusted and my children even more!!!!

    I had exactly the same problem and the solution is found with the publisher, which consists of replacing the launch file (game.exe) with another one they provide that allows you to play without the CD!!! (an official and legal crack, in a way).
    And it works!!!! finally!!!

    select Emme games in the dropdown menu, then page 2: kirikou
    You will get this:

    " KIRIKOU: UNABLE TO BYPASS THE PROTECTION

    It seems that a background program is preventing your CD-ROM from authenticating.
    If you do not know which program is causing the issue, you can exit as many applications as possible (antivirus, firewall, Messenger, Windows Media Player, emulation or copying software...). To do this, right-click on each icon located at the bottom right of the screen, next to the time, then select "quit, close, cancel, quit or exit" each time.
    Above all, do NOT restart the computer before relaunching or reinstalling your software. Indeed, restarting completely cancels the manipulation you just performed on the icons near the clock (each program is then normally reactivated).

    If the problem persists, please download the following patch: ftp://ftp2.avanquest.com/support/Emme/Kirikou/Game.exe
    Copy it (without running it) into the directory "C:\Program Files\emme\Kirikou" confirming that you wish to overwrite the previous file.
    You should now be able to launch Kirikou without having to insert the disk into the drive."

    And there you go, it works perfectly. Enjoy the game!! (My daughter is hooked!!) the first one is very good too and without bugs.
