Compress a .cbr or .cbz file

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to compress a file in .cbr or .cbz format on Windows.

If so, with which software?

    The format is actually not different. You take your files to compress, compress them into .zip or .rar, and rename them to .cbz or .cbr.

    I swear, the cbr/cbz viewing software recognizes the trick!

    A CBZ file (Comic Book ZIP) is a comic book compressed in ZIP format.

    A CBR file (Comic Book RAR) is a comic book compressed in RAR format.

    Use a compression/decompression software like 7zip:

    It supports the following file formats: 7z, ZIP, RAR (WinRAR), CAB, ARJ, BZ2 (BZip2), CAB, CPIO, DEB, GZ (GZip), LHZ (LHArc), RPM, TAR, and Z.
