Driver that uninstalls itself.

Hello everyone ;-)

Since I switched to Vista, I've had to reinstall all the drivers, including the one for my graphics card.
And the problem is that every time I restart the PC, the driver seems to uninstall itself (yet it is still listed in the installed programs). What makes me say this?

1) Vista Aero is not working anymore, I have to click on "repair the program"
2) PES is not working either, and just like with reactivating Aero, I have to go into repair the program and restart the PC

In short, as mentioned in the title, my driver is uninstalling itself

And I have no viruses, because I installed this driver as soon as I formatted my PC and the problem appeared right after

Help me :D
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.4

"4. Click on the Settings tab, disable legacy Plug-and-Play detection, and then click OK."

I understand, but there are no settings...

Yep: it was about a lpt port

For the graphics card, we only have the "disable" option, but that's not going to work if you don't have another manager...

Driver ► what does reverting to the previous version do?
What does the automatic driver search from Zebulon yield?
What do the BIOS options yield?

I was sure I had seen the option to neutralize the P&P already...

It seems that your driver is not the right one, and that "plug & play" is replacing it.

•1► disable plug & play if you want to keep your driver

or

•2► try an upgrade from the site
https://www.zebulon.fr/outils/
(to be launched exclusively with Internet Explorer, like all security sites)

For the driver that isn't good, I'm a bit perplexed. I found it by going to my graphics card's website and followed the steps... And every time I install it, my graphics card works well.

But I will follow your method..

"•1► disable plug and play if you want to keep your driver "
How to disable plug and play?

How to enable Plug-and-Play detection
To enable Plug-and-Play detection, follow these steps:
1. Right-click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop, then click on Properties.
2. Click on the Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager.
3. Click to expand ports, right-click on the device, then click on Properties.
4. Click on the Settings tab, disable inherited Plug-and-Play detection and then click OK.
5. Restart your computer when prompted.

If that doesn't work, there should be an option to enable/disable it in the BIOS...

You only use Internet Explorer! So switch to Firefox!

Search with Google, the solution may exist!

As soon as your problem is solved, change your status to resolved! Thank you!

Well, without the graphics screen, I can't see anything.

If you've followed the steps, it should list all your drivers, and the drivers that need to be updated are highlighted with a brighter color and a green arrow ► ... if you double-click, the download will be offered on the image of a DVD drive → click on it and install or load it onto the disk.

I can see that you are not in the drivers: follow the path indicated by the arrows ▲▲▲
