Hello,
I am currently in Spain and I need to buy a laptop.
My problem is that the language of Vista will be in Spanish.
Is it possible to change the language to French, completely without having an installation CD?
I saw online that 3/4 of people say no, that you have to have the Ultimate edition of Vista or something like that, but some seem to have succeeded, so I don't know who to believe.
So if I buy a basic laptop in Spain, can I change the language from Spanish to French in the entirety of Vista?
And if so, how can I do it?
Thank you very much
Antoine

Once you buy the PC, you go to the Microsoft website and download the French language, I think, I'm not sure. But what's certain is that you will have the Spanish and English languages on your PC.

Good evening
I would ask the sellers if it's possible, of course, they will say yes (they are crafty) and after their response, I will tell them that if it's possible, they should go ahead. If they want to sell their goods, there's no reason not to
BUT if they refuse, don't insist (it's not possible) -
Hi guys,
the sellers here don’t care much, they told me that they couldn’t do it but that it was probably possible by looking online.
Well, I did quite a bit of research and there are a lot of people saying it's possible only under a certain version of Vista, not the basic version.
The discussions were quite old so I wanted to know if anyone has succeeded in doing the manipulation and it worked...
It's about transforming Spanish into French and I want to make sure I can do it before buying the PC.
Thanks
