No sound between TV and home cinema

Hello,

I have a SAMSUNG LE37M86BD LCD and a SAMSUNG HT-A100 Home Cinema.
The home cinema works very well for playing DVDs and CDs.

However, I can't configure the home cinema and the TV to have the home cinema sound when I watch TV programs. The two devices are connected via HDMI.
DIGITAL IN appears on the Home Cinema unit but there is no sound. When I try to turn up the volume via the TV, "RECEIVER .....+....." appears on the TV screen.

What should I do? Should I connect a SCART adapter from the TV to the Home Cinema with RCA?
Component connections? But don't they only account for video and not audio?

Thank you in advance.

      Hello,
      there are two solutions:
      - either with 1 RCA cable connected to the Auxiliary input of the Home Cinema and to the audio out of the TV
      - or with an optical cable between the optical ports of the Home and the TV.

It works with a slight image/sound delay that I'm trying to adjust, but it's going fine...
