Hello,

I'm looking to supplement my income with a work-from-home job using the internet. Yesterday, I came across an ad that claims you can earn 29.90 euros per email processed. Apparently, after purchasing a starter kit for 29.90 euros, you receive emails that you have to forward as explained in this famous kit to interested parties. I wanted to know if anyone knows this company Business Center and if this is something honest or a scam! If it's true, that's great, but it seems a little too good to be true... We don't really know what kind of emails we are supposed to forward, or who the interested parties are, so??? Thanks to anyone who can respond!

Here's what I think:

I have been in the same situation and that's what brought me to this forum...
I found this ad very enticing, even too enticing, and that's why before paying for anything, I preferred to get informed...
So I did a bit of research online, I found the general terms of this purchase and, coincidentally, no withdrawal is possible and everything depends on American law, so since we are French, we know nothing about American law, of course. Then, I called the number indicated at the bottom of the ad: 0899 653 653 and I got a voicemail that told me the cost of this call (not indicated online) is €1 something + about €0.30/min. I followed the instructions, I entered the code indicated in the ad and the voicemail assured me they would do everything to find the recipient of my call and if he did not answer, they would give me his phone number... guess what? My correspondent was not reachable (on a Thursday at 2:20 PM!) LOL... and it hung up!

In conclusion = if this phone number leads us to a very unprofessional voicemail, we shouldn't expect anything else for the rest of the operations and I wouldn't advise anyone to buy this pack because everything indicates it's a scam!
I will ask my boyfriend who is a law professor if all this is legal for France via the internet.

Have a good day everyone!

Some information gathered from the internet...

Here’s the principle: you send €29.90 via PayPal and you receive a starter kit in return. In fact, an “Ebook” on working from home, filled with platitudes, a file on using Google Adwords, a sample email and website. You must have a PayPal account that allows you to receive card payments. Then you create a website and advertise it. After that, you pray that more suckers bite the bait, send you their €29.90, and you send them back the so-called starter kit. In short, you buy hot air and try to resell hot air! It’s been a while since these sites, all using the same design, have started to proliferate!

“This type of sale is prohibited by article L-122-6 of the Consumer Code which penalizes sales known as pyramid schemes.
Those who develop this type of prohibited activity expose themselves to a fine of €4,500 and a one-year imprisonment.” (Source: MINISTER OF ECONOMY, FINANCE AND EMPLOYMENT
GENERAL DIRECTORATE FOR COMPETITION, CONSUMPTION AND REPRESSION OF FRAUD)

BRAVO FM26

The description of the scam is perfectly outlined: it's just hot air....!

I advise you all to steer clear of these types of advertisements; the bigger the promises (in terms of profits), the more twisted it is. I know at least 3 people in my circle who have been taken in.....!! In these times of crisis, many are looking for additional income, and unfortunately, scammers are going to take advantage of this; it's always the vulnerable who suffer!!

WARNING: beware of offers of all kinds coming from Africa (Ivory Coast, Cameroon, ....) when I was selling my property, I was pursued for a year and a half by scammers based in the Ivory Coast who were trying, by various means, to extort money from me (advance on plane tickets, processing fees, parcel transfers, ..... Those who fall for it are guaranteed to have no recourse; I informed myself with the Fraud Prevention services, and they are categorical: no recourse possible!!!

Hello,

I was asking myself the exact same question. I haven't found an answer yet, but if you do find one, could you let me know? Because even if the proposal seems very interesting, it remains rather suspicious.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
