Signal issue on Peritel input

Hello everyone,
I just acquired a Samsung LE26S8 LCD screen and I connected a DVD player to a SCART socket. When I turn on my player, the screen detects the power-up and switches to channel EXT1, but then the message "NO SIGNAL" appears on the screen!!!!
I tried with another SCART cable: same result; I also tried the previous steps on the second SCART input and got the same result this time on channel EXT2....
Do you know of this kind of situation? Do you have a solution? Thank you for your help please
