DVD player says bad disk

Question

Hello,
since yesterday, I've been trying to read different purchased DVDs, so not burned ones, but there's no way it keeps telling me "wrong disk"!
What's going on? Is it a cleaning issue or something else??

Configuration: Windows XP Opera 9.50

Hello,  If the DVDs are in good condition, the problem is probably with the reading lens; there are cleaning CDs or DVDs that aren't very expensive.
