Hello!
I had a keyboard issue with an Asus Eee 1005HA, I disassembled the keyboard (see the YouTube video "How to disassemble and fix the keyboard of Asus Eee PC 1005HA")
Then I cleaned the keyboard with a bit of water and table vinegar, I let the keyboard dry and then I reassembled my keyboard!
Note: don't go looking for drivers because it has nothing to do with it.
Keys to try before you start:
"FN" with "NumLK"

Actually, it's a driver issue.
Like me, you must have plugged in a keyboard or another similar peripheral, so Windows removed the Asus driver thinking it was obsolete...
I don't have a solution, but I'm informing you of what I could understand.

Subject dead I know, but if it can help someone...
The keyboard of the 1005 detaches by pushing the little tabs above the keys; F1, F6, F10 Insert, then detach the ribbon cable that connects the keyboard to the PC...
Many sites offer new keyboards for around €60, but I found this: http://www.priceminister.com/offer?action=desc&aid=350644840
€12 including shipping....

Thank you, I opened the keyboard, blew it out, wiped the keys, reassembled it, and it works.
