Hello everyone,
I will probably soon buy myself a new motherboard:

and it requires ASUS AI Suite II.

Where to find it for Ubuntu?
Would there be an alternative?
Can you help me?

Thank you very much

PS: I am using Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit.

Configuration: Ubuntu 11.10 64-bit / Firefox 11.0

    Good evening,

AI Suite is only used to configure your card, so it isn’t indispensable, it will work perfectly out-of-the-box.

But if you really need it to modify its properties you probably won’t be able to install it on Linux, I doubt there is an equivalent.

What can we do exactly with this software suite?

All of these settings are completely unnecessary when you’re on Linux and not gaming: fan controls, voltage, power supply, sensors...

Nothing essential I assure you, the fans adjust by default, dynamically, the power supply as well, and for the sensors, you’ll always have a way to view your hardware temperatures in one way or another under Linux.
