Download free video clips

Info Pratique: To download music clips or videos legally, I recommend downloading "realplayer11." Choose the free basic version, then go to the site, http://www.visamotion.com, for music clips or on YouTube or elsewhere. When you play a video, a small window "realplayer download this video" will appear; click on it and the download will start.

I also think that with RealPlayer, it's not illegal downloading as long as you don't download music in mp3 or entire movies; it just remains video sharing and not "peer to peer."

Before the download is finished, you have the choice between different versions, choose RealPlayer 11 basic, it's free, see you!

Just because you download it with RealPlayer doesn't mean it's legal...

Of course it's legal since the videos are hosted on YouTube or other sites; I think that if it were illegal, YouTube or Dailymotion would have been shut down a long time ago.

If YouTube had to remove all illegal videos, there would be no more YouTube :-)


I use KeeppVid to download videos and then MediaCoder to convert them to avi.

There are also VDOWNLOADER or FLUVORE to capture videos, but it's more reliable with YouTube than with Dailymotion.

I tried RealPlayer, but it only downloads in FLV format. If you know a good FLV to AVI converter, that would really help me out. Thanks!

To download multiple videos at once, you need to have the youtube video download tool, then you can download the video from any website
