Uninstalling Internet Download Manager

Hello my friends,
I would like help to completely uninstall Internet Download Manager after the trial period ends without formatting my hard drive - urgent issue - thank you all!!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

search for the software, start = search

then in the registry = start = run = regedit = ctrl+f

delete everything you find related to the software

and finally, run ccleaner to clean up the rest

Hi Gouby, it might be another version or series. Mine was an evaluation and then that was it, they're asking me for the recording otherwise I get the message that asks for the serial number that I don't have. Thank you anyway, looking forward to it, bye!!!

so normally you go to run/regedit then hkey local machine/Software you will find a folder with the name internet download manager delete it completely note do this after uninstalling idm

After installing IDM, this message appears:
IDM detected that its registry keys have been damaged since the last run, it is possible that you ran a flaky spyware remover program which corrupted the system registry. IDM will try to restore all damaged data but some data may remain corrupted.
After I click OK, another message appears:

IDM has not been registered for 15 days, IDM will close

Please help me.

Same for me!!! I can't install IDM anymore. IDM detected that its registry keys have been....................................................!!!! PLS help. Thank you in advance.

Moi aussi, je partage le même problème avec eux. Le même message s'affiche après l'installation de IDM. Il est comme suit : "IDM n'a pas été enregistré depuis 15, IDM va se fermer." Je n'ai rien compris, aidez-nous s'il vous plaît. Quelle sera la solution ?

to uninstall it:

use Revo Uninstaller if it doesn't work, manually delete the files, if it gets stuck, use Unlocker

Then, with CCleaner, go to "tools", see if IDM is still there, if so, click on "delete entry".

Next, go to "registry" (still in CCleaner), search for errors then "fix all errors" (don't forget to back up the registry), repeat this process until the software finds nothing more.

Normally after that it should be good :)

Hi everyone
I had trouble uninstalling iDM, to do so I downloaded idman518.exe, by installing it it creates the unstall file, I just have to execute it.

I tried this method and it still doesn't work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled version 5.17 and I still have the same problem. Here's what happens once I install IDM

Thank you for your reply, but I think I didn't explain myself well. I did uninstall IDM through the control panel, but when I try to launch IDM again, I can't access it and it asks me to register and says that "15 days have passed........." So there is something hidden that prevents me from restarting it. A file somewhere, for example, that is blocking it...... I would like to know how to resolve this without going through formatting, which is the last resort. Thank you again, goodbye!

Hi, I have the same thing; to avoid formatting, go into your C: drive and look for and delete all the Internet Download Manager files and then you can reinstall it... bye.
