Accessing the digital menu on Toshiba LCD TV

Hello,
I just acquired a 42" Toshiba "REGZA" LCD and I can't access the digital menu (DTV) to make the various channel search settings, software updates, program guide, timer...etc; likewise, when I follow the manual, I find that some items are missing from the on-screen menu > automatic search (for example) is also absent from the analog menu (ATV).
I am connected as follows: the antenna cable from my satellite dish is plugged into the SAT input of the C+ decoder, which is itself connected to the TV via an HDMI cable into the "HDMI 1" port.
When I follow the manual, upon turning on the TV, I need to do the digital setup (DTV mode): search and sorting of channels...etc, but the search returns: no channels found..!!
The only mode with adjustable settings and available channels is the analog mode (ATV). However, it is still missing the automatic search (mentioned in the manual..).
Therefore, I don't even know if the images on the screen are digital or analog!!
I would be very grateful if you could help me solve my issue with the missing digital mode and settings..!
Is my connection correct..?
If you have links for assistance, I would appreciate it!!
Thank you for your help...
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.1

    Hello.
I also just bought a REGZA TV. I connected my TV to our antenna. I didn't make any other connections. When I turn on my TV, I start the automatic search for DTV. No channel is found... It's impossible to figure out what is wrong. If anyone can help me, thank you in advance!!!!

Bought Toshiba Rezga TV in December 2010, switched to digital in February 2011, no more settings, TV simply connected to the antenna verified by an installer in November 2010
the manual does not explain how to search for channels......... tried everything different settings, scanning etc... nothing.
