Issues on meetic

I contacted a member; he replied to me, but unfortunately, I only received a tiny part of his message, as he provided very little information about himself and wanted to know a bit more before I subscribed. Well, too bad, I won't subscribe now because I believe that it only encourages such behavior.

Some women add me to their favorites and don’t reply to my messages?
Others want to start a conversation, I reply to them and then nothing? (Well, for the gossipers, my answers aren’t heavy or stupid... or maybe... no, I’m just kidding! Anyway, it’s weird!)

Some I reply to are marked as having left and haven’t read my messages, following their messages?

Some respond to messages marked as unread by the server...

The responses from their moderators to your questions are all canned phrases that they throw out without really reading your messages... However, they have a system that makes it seem professional. As soon as you leave your message on the site, an email alerts you that it has been received and that you will be replied to as soon as possible. But, I mean, sometimes you think they should have avoided replying at all, given the quality of the responses...

To be frank, I think I got fooled, but hey, it’s all fair game... they are there to market and rake in money... and I contributed! Smile...

So, I signed up for Netclub (I don’t have shares in them... don’t worry), and it’s much better...

Although, who knows, maybe Netclub belongs to them too and we just don’t know it.

I believe that your friend is not subscribed (she's not paying). For some time now, Meetic has become paid for women as well, so your friend can only respond to PREMIUM members (has nothing to do with the photo). These are members who pay a higher subscription than others. For the others, she cannot read their messages, respond, chat, or even see their profiles; for that, she needs to juggle and try Meetic Be, which sometimes (not always) allows you to view profiles.
