Hello,  An infinite number of very short films or one very, very big one!  DVD format, one film is 4.7 GB. In DivX (AVI), the standard is 700 MB per film.

Actually, the one who replied said you can put quite a few short films, but you can only put one big film. Honestly, that guy is really ugly and he’s dumb. 30 gigabytes is HUGE; we can at least put 100 films. I don't know, but in any case, we can put a lot. My sister has a 1-gig MP4 and she can put at least 10 films on it!! SO HONESTLY, ON A 30 GIG CLASSIC IPOD, WE CAN PUT A LOT.

Hello, so what you read above is both true and false... lol
Well, it all depends on the encoding of your films
For example, a Blu-ray holds a lot more than...
a DVD holds 4.7GB times 6... 28.2GB
a DivX holds 700MB times 42... 29.4GB
and in MP4, the format that most phones, iPods, etc. read... you can usually fit 300MB for a 1.5-hour movie times 100 films... 30GB
So it all depends on your encoding.

Well, actually I have a 32 GB iPad and I can answer you because I know about it. Generally, I download my movies directly from a site and on average a movie takes between 300 MB and 500 MB, so about 1/2 GB. So if you have, like me, hundreds of photos (780) and a lot of apps (100), you can store about 20 movies. However, I don't know what Blu-ray and DivX mean and everything that goes with it, so I can’t say how much space that takes. :D
