Hello,
I am using Vista and I have a small problem.
In the device manager, next to "USB mass storage device", there is a little yellow triangle on the lock.
When I double-click on it, it states in 'device status': Windows cannot use this hardware device because it has been prepared for controlled removal, but has not been removed from the computer. (Code 47)
To fix this problem, disconnect the device from the computer, then reconnect it.
This problem occurred when I connected the GPS to the computer to update it. I had installed the software to ensure it recognizes it even though it is not compatible with Vista. I think this is the cause.
Additionally, when I go to My Computer, under the section "devices with removable media", only drive E is displayed whereas there used to be several (F, G, ...)
