No network card driver (error 45)

Question

Good evening, I just installed a new graphics card in my tower. My problem is that since the installation of the graphics card, I can no longer connect to the internet with my Ethernet cable. I then looked in my device manager, the properties of my Realtek card show an error: (code 45). The network connections folder is empty. When I run the Windows diagnostic, it tells me "Windows did not detect a properly installed network card. If you have a network card, you need to reinstall the driver." I then uninstalled and reinstalled my driver, and it says "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If deep Sleep Mode is enabled, please plug the cable." I would need your help please. Here are my specifications: motherboard (ASUStek H97M-E Rev X.0x) processor (Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU) memory (8192MB RAM) Windows 8.1 64 bit graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 ti) network card driver (Realtek PCIe GBE family Controller)

Hello  Download this Ethernet driver to your desktop click here  It's a zipped driver, you need to unzip it with 7zip (for example)  The link if needed >> https://www.7-zip.org/  PS: Choose the 64-bit version for your PC  Run it as an administrator (right click) to install  Once done, right click on the zipped driver and select 7zip >> extract to.... re  have you tested with another cable?  since you changed the graphics card, did you disconnect/touch anything else at the same time?  here's what it says for code 45:    Code 45 "This hardware device is currently not connected to the computer... (Code 45)" Complete error message  This hardware device is currently not connected to the computer. To fix this issue, reconnect the hardware device to the computer. (Code 45)  Cause  This error occurs if a device that was previously connected to the computer is no longer connected. To resolve this issue, reconnect the hardware device to the computer.  Recommended resolution  No resolution is required. This error code is only used to indicate the disconnected state of the device and does not require resolution. I tried my cable on my laptop and it works fine. As for the connectors, I unplugged 2 connectors that go from my GPU to my motherboard. I reconnected them with an adapter that came with the card. Regarding error 45, here is the information provided by Solvusoft.  Incorrectly configured, outdated, or corrupted device drivers. (very common) Corruption of the Windows registry due to a recent software change related to Windows (installation or uninstallation). Infection by a virus or malware that has corrupted Windows system files or related drivers. Driver conflict due to the installation of new hardware. Defective hardware.  When I click "search for hardware changes," it just refreshes the page, nothing more.

hi  so you don't play online  for your network card, check in the "boot" tab of the bios if it appears (I think it should be there since it shows up in the device manager)  do you have other devices connected?  if so, do they have the same issue?  did your internet connection work properly before you changed your graphics card?  have you unplugged your BOX for 20 seconds and plugged it back in?  see you  -- the radiation level is higher at the unemployment office than at Chernobyl

Hello.  Here are the details I found about the network card in the BIOS.            For the other connected devices, I have 2 laptops that have no issues connecting either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.  As for my internet connection, it works perfectly with the graphics card change.

re  uninstall your network card (including the drivers) and restart the PC    when you restart the PC:  either you have a yellow triangle on the connection and you reinstall the driver  or your card is improperly connected, and you need to check that everything is in order in the case (the connections)  PS: is it a "standalone" card or is it a chipset? The network card is chipset-based on the motherboard. Once the driver was uninstalled, no faults were detected in the device manager. I will try kaneagle's idea.

Hi.  I removed the motherboard battery overnight. The network card issue remains unchanged.  When I reassembled the components, I checked my various connectors, and everything seems correct to me.  I don't know if this means anything, but my light that detects the position of my RJ45 is working.
