Hello, I have a problem with my CD/DVD drive: it no longer reads CDs or DVDs.
When I go to the device manager, a yellow triangle appears next to the name of my drive.
I click on it, and in the "device status" box, it says:
"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. This driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
Click 'Search for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and check if there is a solution available."
I then click on search for solutions, a window pops up but nothing happens, so I go to the driver tab and click on "Update driver" - "Search automatically for updated driver," after that a window appears searching for a driver and finally I'm told that the best driver is already installed; however, I still cannot read CDs/DVDs.
Thank you for responding to me as quickly as possible please =)
