Hello,
I just installed eMule version 0.49b... and I’m looking for where to download the server list (best, good, all), or even a link; anything will do, I just want to update the list when starting eMule ^^...
So if you could help me!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

I have the same version of eMule as you
but for the past 10 days, I haven’t been able to download anything, I remain indefinitely in "connecting" and all the servers seem inactive
can you tell me which servers you have set up? And what TCP and UDP ports are you using?

Hello, I just found a SERVER THAT WORKS! :D Yes, after hours spent behind my computer, I finally succeeded (with version 0.49). Here is the IP and the PORT 212.63.206.35:4242

but edonkeyno1 and all the servers listed by freehome are inactive for me...is anyone else having connection issues right now? could there be a general issue with the servers (updates, or something like that)?

To be precise, don’t criticize me by saying: his server doesn’t work, it’s just there to fit into the story... I’m only 12 years old! And yes, I’m a pro in computer science (for my age). I know a lot of things about computers; I’ve been into it since I was 6 years old, you see, my childhood has been very lonely.
And no, for the last time, I am not a kid with nothing to do here!

thanks for your list but I just tried the 15 servers on the list, they are all inactive
is it working for you at the moment?
and at my place Kad is always "connecting" without ever getting there... does anyone know how to set it up?
I specify that my router and my firewall are set to ports 4662 in TCP and 4672 in UDP

Well, I'm never inactive (I'm on a low speed lol!!!), it takes me 2 seconds to connect, and then the files go direct from the sources and start downloading.
I use edonkeyno1, it's the only one with the most files for me, to choose well you have to connect to a server with a lot of people and the lowest ping possible.
The little green dots displayed next to the donkey logo to show that it's downloading are often at full.
But since I formatted, it's not going too well anymore.
If you have a good tutorial to configure emule 1.2d or 0.49b, let me know!!!

Well, you need to adapt or open new ports on your router that will be more compatible with eMule. Try to clarify from this link!!

You shouldn't use TCP ports 4662 and UDP 4672 because they are incorrect!!! You need to use the same ports as eMule in the connections section and report those in your search!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck!!! I did the same and it's working very well now (over 120 in speed)

Do you have a recent server update address for eMule 0.49b? Because on my entire server list (about twenty), none connect except for two or three, but apparently without any sources for my ongoing downloads since it's not working...

no, it's working well for me,
so there shouldn't be any issues with the servers...
the problem should be somewhere else,
if I were you, I would download an eMule (the same or another version) to check...
otherwise, I don't see anything else to do.

I just installed eMule 0.49b. At first, I was able to download, but the next day I can't download anymore. Does anyone have a solution for me? Plus, I have Vista. Help me, I'm not a computer pro.

Hello, I managed to configure eMule + or - correctly but I only have 4 servers working!!! I would like to know how to get more servers if possible!!! Otherwise, it's not a big deal, it’s now running at 100-120 for a 512k, and I don't think that's too bad!! I have Windows XP and eMule version 49b since this morning!! Thank you for your help and see you soon!!! ;)

Hello everyone! I have eMule 0.49b and I haven't changed anything. I've heard a lot about router settings and all sorts of things, but that's not true! It's simply the eMule settings that determine whether you have a Low or High ID. Right now, I have a High ID of 7 billion and some dust. As for the servers, the best ones seem to be the ones I use most often: DonkeyServer No1, eDonkey Server No1, and Mules and Blues Donkey. That's it!

Hi, I downloaded "eMule for Dummies" on eMule and followed the instructions to the letter. Since then, I'm on high ID... it takes 10 minutes and then you're good to go!

Go to the web page: http://ed2k.2x4u.de/index.html
On this page, go to the 3rd line (all servers) and click on (add to eMule)

P.S.) Add this page to your Favorites for easier regular updates of the server list

Hi YioCaMarche,

I downloaded version 0.49B yesterday, and it was working fine.
However, today I cannot download anything at all. After some research, I tried copying some server names I found in the tutorials into the addresses.dat file, but it doesn't work; I get the following message:
"Unable to create the file C:\ProgramFiles\eMules\config\addresses.dat.
Please check that the name and path are correct."
The file remains empty at 0 bytes.

What can I do to fix this problem??

By the way, there's no point in having 270 servers; many of them are fake high IDs. 2 or 3 good servers are enough.

Regarding your problem... Have you tried the two IP addresses of the servers that I posted in a message on this topic?
If yes and it still doesn't work, I recommend that you check for any antivirus or firewall on your PC that might be blocking your server connections!

I tested it little by little, you can connect eMule to whatever server you want and see how it works. Right now I'm running with eD2k n°2 and I must be at about 220 KB per second. There's The Pirate Bay, which is very good, or even SexyTivi, or eMule Back, but Razorback is no longer what it used to be.

If I were you, I would install version 0.48; there are way too many issues with 0.49.
