File name font color

You're not explaining the procedure; I assume you're not an amateur. However, as far as I'm concerned, I don't understand anything about your codes. Could you please provide me with some clarifications?

No problem: is it in the My Documents folder that you want to change the color of the file names? Then go to the folder not by clicking on the My Documents icon but by going through Computer, C:\Document and settings\[your username]\documents\ Then, in the address bar, keep what is there and type at the end: \desktop.ini (or desktop.inf, I’m not sure) and hit enter. (This is necessary because the desktop.ini file is a hidden system file)

When the file opens, at the end, add

Attributes=1
IconArea_Image=Fond.jpg
#this is for the background image (instead of the default white): the image must be in the same folder and be named Fond.jpg

To change the color of the icon names, you need to add the line

IconArea_text=0x0099FF99

after the "=": you must absolutely keep the "0x00" but the following 6 hexadecimal characters (from 0 to 9 and from A to F) actually form 3 pairs of 2 characters like 48 (for example) the first pair corresponds to blue (00 means no blue and FF means full blue!) the second to green and the last pair means red.

=>for example: white is the mix of maximum green, maximum blue, and maximum red: you must therefore write =0x00FFFFFF

=>for black (which is the minimum of the three colors) you need to put =0x00000000
=>for green: =0x0000FF00
=>for red: =0x000000FF
=>for orange (more delicate): being a mix of red and yellow (yellow being the mix of green and red): it requires half red + the other half of green + red: that is, 3/4 red and 1/4 green that is: =0x0000CC44
=>with combinations, you can create 2^8 combinations per color pair (so in total 2^24=16770000 colors (approximately))

This is because all colors are formed from Red, Blue, and Green (emission spectra) (unlike Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow which is the absorption spectrum.)
