EXCEL - group columns and name them

Insert/Name/Define exists in all versions of Excel. The path has changed a bit since the 2007 version.
It remains to know your version and have more explanations about your expectations. On this subject, you should have opened your own discussion and not revived this old one.

It's fine, I managed to do it with ctrl+F3, but it didn't solve my problem
Regarding my expectations, I'm looking for the possibility to display the names of the groupings.
In fact, I've placed several groupings in columns, next to each other.
The result is
+ + + + in the upper margin
I want to assign a name to each grouping so I can distinguish them.
So, my need is exactly similar to that of olive60.

you probably want to talk about the outline mode and in your case apply it in column.
Above the column headers, you have plus signs (+); if you click on them, the columns will expand, and if the columns are hidden, you have minus signs (–); if you click on those, the relevant columns will open. My response on July 22, 2008 was off-topic: I had thought that olive60 wanted to name the group of columns; in reality, he wanted to insert text into the plan markers, which of course is completely unthinkable and utopian!

Here is Raymond who understood my need, but it seems that it is impossible to display the name of the grouping. Thank you anyway for your help.
