landline does not ring during a call

Hello, my landline is sulking, it doesn't ring when someone calls me. However, when I enter the settings, it rings in all types of settings (melody choice, volume, internal and external calls), but never when someone calls me. I tried a reset, nothing works; it detects the base of the handset well (message on the display 1dect2)
it's an ALCATEL VERSATIS V830 VOICE
HELP, IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY, IT'S 1 YEAR OLD AND I'M GOING TO ...........
HOWEVER, IT DOES DISPLAY THE CALLER AND WHEN I PICK UP I HAVE THE CALL, but it doesn't ring, the rascal, please help me, thanks in advance to anyone who will respond

I have exactly the same problem you described. Have you managed to resolve it? Please, tell me how....
My V830 is 3 months old and I've lost the warranty... The problem started a few weeks ago, and since then, I've been trying everything in vain.

Same problem...
I disassembled it, redid some soldering that seemed suspicious, but it didn't solve the problem.
It sometimes rings, but it's random (if I shake it for 10 minutes, it will start ringing, I put it down, it continues, then nothing. Or I remove the handset from the base, and it starts ringing, but the next time it doesn't ring at all).
Incomprehensible.
But I see that it's a recurring problem, I'll look into it a bit more and I'll get back to you if I have any news.

PS: the problem comes from the phone because the others, plugged into the same outlet, work.

Hello,

There are plenty of people who have the same problem with the same phone, as well as other Alcatel models in duo or trio, the capacitor is fried and it doesn’t ring anymore, it’s a big pile of crap. It's Alcatel made in China for cheap, but here in France when we buy it, it wasn’t given to us, I don’t know about you, but I paid around 80 Euros for it. So it should be avoided.

The failure is indeed due to the filtering capacitor C 35 10µF/10V. I replaced it with a 22µF/10V taken from a network card. Thanks to the person who helped me fix it.
