How to test powerline adapters?

Hello,
I have 2 Ethernet powerline adapters that were working perfectly between my computer and my Neufbox for 4 months. I haven't changed anything in my electrical installation (which is new: 5 years), nor my computer, nor my Neufbox or my cables.
For the past 2 days, I no longer have an internet connection (the computer shows a yellow triangle: "unidentified network - limited connectivity").
When I connect my 15m RJ45 cable between the box and the computer, it works perfectly again.
I have tried changing the Ethernet cable or the electrical outlet, and reversing the powerline adapters... nothing works.
However, if I plug the 2 powerline adapters into the same outlet (with a splitter) next to the box and still use my 15m RJ45 cable to go from one powerline adapter to the computer, it works.... (but that's not the purpose of powerline adapters being plugged into the same outlet!!!).
I'm hesitant to send them for repair (to Rue du Commerce) for fear they will tell me they work (and charge me a lot of fees...).
I don't think it's the Neufbox because the connection works with the cable.
If anyone has had this problem or knows how I can test the powerline adapters to be sure of the failure.
Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
sorry for bringing up such an old post, but have you fixed the MAC address of the PLCs in the box?
