Hello everyone, I've been playing online for a short time and I've noticed that I have a much higher ping compared to other players. Is it better to have a high or low ping? And what exactly is ping?

Ping = response time of a computer, measured in milliseconds. 2 types: incoming ping and outgoing ping (not sure about the names). Incoming ping: the time it takes for the computer to respond. Outgoing ping: the time it takes for the computer to send a request.
Low ping = very good connection!
High ping = problems on the line. Check with an IP tracer to find out where the problem comes from: http://visualroute.visual ware.com (remove the space).

I've got the same problem, I have a high-speed connection (128 kb/s) yet when playing online my ping exceeds 400!
