    Hello,

to unblock the ports you want to unblock in KIS 2009, you need to:

open the Kaspersky window, go to the "Application Control" tab, click on firewall, configuration, go to configuration next to the firewall, click on add when you reach the "Network Packet" tab, then click on add in the "Network Service" sub-tab, enter a name, any name, check the "protocol" box, enter the ports you want to unblock (in most cases this applies to "local ports" usually with TCP and UDP ports to unblock so you will need to repeat this operation twice but choosing "TCP" for one and "UDP" for the other, as for the "direction", I advise you to leave it on "incoming/outgoing" as this applies to most applications where you need to unblock ports). When you are done, click ok, then ok to return to the Kaspersky window, that's it, from now on your ports should be unblocked, at least regarding Kaspersky.

Hi, when I click on the "application control" tab, I don't have a "firewall" tab that appears, I just have a thing called "proactive defense" and when I click on the configuration of "proactive defense," I don't have the option to open ports!!!
Can someone help me?! Thanks, my software is "Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2009."

        Hello yo08yo,

It's normal that you don't have this option. The firewall is available in "Kaspersky Internet Security 2009".

        Your firewall is not Kaspersky.

Here’s how to keep your Kaspersky license always valid:

After the trial period (30 days):

        - go to the "Activation" tab
        - click on remove the license
        - turn off Kaspersky (right-click on the icon in the taskbar and then "exit")
        - open the registry: start menu then run then type "regedit"

        FOR XP:
        - search for these 2 keys:
        [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SPC\Certificates]
        [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\LicStorage]

        And delete them.

        FOR VISTA:
        - search for these 2 keys:
        [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SPC\Certificates]
        [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\KasperskyLab\LicStorage]

        And delete them.

        - restart Kaspersky
        - reactivate the trial license in the activation tab

It's back for 30 days for 2 minutes of work! No need to restart!

It's not working for me... I have eMule 49c, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, and it's not working.

And the problem is indeed with Kaspersky, since when I disable it, the port test in eMule is 100% successful.

But when Kaspersky is enabled, even with the rules created, it doesn't work. It's frustrating, help!!
