I just had the same issue and I believe I've found a solution. The + in front of Harddrive indicates that you can open this entry, in which case the name of the HDD will display. To boot from the CD as a priority, you indeed need to use the F5 or F6 keys, or both extreme keys just before the backspace (we're using an American keyboard..). Move the CD-Rom to the top position (it shows in white when selected). The order of the list then indicates the boot order. So, just make sure to click Save and Exit and immediately insert the reinstall CD into the drive; otherwise, the system will inevitably reboot from the HDD in the absence of a CD.

Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut for save and exit for a Dell Precision 410 MT with BIOS A12?
The BIOS doesn't offer any choices.
None of the F keys are responding.
Is there another combination?
I already reinstalled it a long time ago, but I don't remember how I exited the BIOS.

Hi,
by pressing the ['] key it moves the item down once.

When I enter the BIOS, after downloading several files, I get this message
stop; c0000221 unknown hard error/ system32 /ntdll.dll.
What should I do?
