Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire and I just found an error on my PC because I had to disassemble it and then turn it back on. I had to enter the "Setup" using the "F2" key and now a "Phoenix SecureCore (tm) Setup Utility" code is required, and I don't know how to find this code. For your information, I know that the code consists of a maximum of 8 letters, and numbers do not work for this code.

If someone could help me because I'm really not knowledgeable about this.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

It's probably a BIOS password that's being requested.
Do you have an error message like "system disabled [ERROR CODE]" after a few attempts?

If so, note the code and post it.

Otherwise, enter these 3 codes if your keyboard is in QWERTY:
    -3hqgo3
    -jqw534
    -0qww294e

If you have an AZERTY keyboard, the codes to enter are different:
    -3hago3
    -jaz534
    -0azz294e

These codes allow you to display the error message "system disabled [ERROR CODE]" at the end. Post the error code, it will help deduce the password.

Me when I make 3 errors trying to enter the BIOS, it says system disabled 08517.
