Hello,
I installed the latest version of eMule (v0.49a) and the Kadu connection is stuck on "connecting". When I click on "recheck the firewall", I get the following message:
Key: a number that is never the same
Type: "node discovery"
State: "stopped"
If anyone has a solution

Hello, I have emule 0.49c and I also had a bootstrap problem with Kad. I put the following address: "http://download.emule-french.org/nodes.dat" in nodes.dat then clicked on bootstrap and everything is back to normal.
I now have my Kad connected, and my downloads are resuming.
As for the discovery of a node, that is completely normal.

Good evening
I have the mention "discovery of a node" on KAD. If someone can tell me what to do.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards

Hello everyone!!
I've been following several discussions and I've made a note of all my issues with emul, especially with Kad:
- I connect to Kad and it signals a node more, but I still have red arrows on the planet at the bottom :'(
What should I do?
I have little experience with emul, I unfortunately have Vista and I can't connect to the other servers either!!
Thanks in advance

Hi, check if your firewall is blocking the connection, that's probably it. The detected node is normal, it's good that you're connecting.

It comes from your C+ box, it's complicated, you need to open the ports on your box (this is going to be too complicated for you). To make it simpler, download eMule Morph Xt, then click on preferences, go to connection, check random ports, then check
configure ports using upnp, then go to mode options (still in this menu), click on it, go to "emulespania", check enable support... check open/close ports... check add a rule... check activate upnp. Check remove port mapping... confirm by applying. Then everything is done automatically for opening and closing the ports on your box and your firewall, a must.

Hi, normally it installs on it, the node means that a connection is being created or is trying to be created, so everything is fine, the node detection is normal. Once connected to the node, you also become a node for others (check on the Emule website what a node means, you seem to be doubting). Then disconnect eD2k, leave only Kad, run about fifteen different searches and wait 5 minutes, stay on transfer. I hope you are not on Wi-Fi; otherwise, Emule won't work or will work very poorly.
