Hello, hello,
I just read all the problems people can have with Opendisc. (not really Audio CDs)
We understand that it could all go smoothly as well.
Except that, due to lack of time, I copied my brand new CD onto the hard drive, thinking I would burn it later, I lent it out... and so, I no longer have it.
What to do now with my recorded infos that are not read as audio files but as data?
Thanks to whoever can enlighten me (otherwise, I could always recover my CD, but I’m interested in knowing how it works)
Also, how to get rid of that label sticking to my cursor?

Dear Sir or Madam,
Opendisc is not a copyright protection system, but a free tool that allows you to access a private artist site in which you will find exclusive bonuses.
If you experience issues using the CD reader embedded on the album cover in the main screen of the application (certain software versions), we recommend consulting one of the technical notes at the following address:
http://www6.opendisc.net/?tdfs=1&kw=open+source+software&term=OpenDisc%20Knowledge%20Base%20Software&term=Remote%20Music%20Collaboration%20Software&term=Help%20Desk%20Support%20Ticket%20System&backfill=0
Thank you.

Hello,
During my vacation I bought what I stupidly believed were CDs to listen to in my car, which is new and has the latest hi-fi system.
But I have noticed that OpenDisk discs require computers and the Internet.....
I am in no way looking for privileged links with the artists involved.
I listen to them for free every morning on W9 and in supermarkets, and why not paying in my car???
What is the purpose of an OpenDisk if I can only listen to it behind my computer ???
I feel like I’ve been taken for a ride because the products bought at Fnac were placed in the CD rack and it wasn’t noted that they were unplayable on a normal hi-fi chain.
Finally I wonder if it isn’t wiser to listen only to the radio or W9 with its free music.
Best regards

Opendisc is really awful. They should understand that this crap is a nuisance and not an asset.
Moreover the so-called support you tout is incomplete and the support is not up to date (they still think Mac OS is at version X.3) and it is as bogus as the format itself. Most opendisc CDs cause problems both on standard players and on
Opendisc CDs are not standard CDs on which functions are added. It’s deceptive. It’s a special CD format.

Well, I’ve never had problems with Opendisc, and I can read them with a normal hi-fi system...
In addition, I have plenty of CDs with Opendisc.
But anyway...
I think Opendisc is pretty nice, because there are some interesting videos about the artists.
