Hello!
-In the menu "Effects\Filter\", click on "Central Channel Extractor":
-A window opens:
search for the word "Acapella" and click on it:
-Click on "preview" to hear
-and change the parameters for a 100% extraction
-If you removed the voice, let me know here and tell me if it works well so that all users can see it?
-Thank you again.

In fact, it is impossible to remove the vocals from a song since after the song is formulated, all the audio tracks are combined into one. However, there remains a not very simple way: lowering the pitch of the voice. This is how we say that we "remove" the vocals from a song, but we only make it silent or almost... Adobe Audition is not quite effective at doing this perfectly with all songs, but with other programs like Audacity, you can cut or lower the pitch of the vocals.
For Adobe Audition v3, to extract the lyrics go to:
Effects ---> Stereo Imaging -----> Center Channel Extractor ---> Effects Presets ---> Vocal Remover.
Effects ---> Stereo Imaging -----> Center Channel Extractor ---> Effects Presets ---> Vocal Remover.
Hi
-You import a stereo audio clip and then click on "Favorites\Remove Vocals" at the top
-Or if you want the sound to use "Effect\Filter\Extract Central Channel" then there are options to choose on the right:
-The first one will remove the sound.
-The last one removes the vocals.
-Be careful, for a 100% removal of vocals or sound it has to be in stereo format and you need to set the audio clip up properly.
-At least you are like me and you saw it and you believed it, it's been almost a month since I've been saying it's possible in this forum but they keep telling me "Not Possible".
-Thanks and see you soon.

Ben prove it to us.
We're still waiting => extract the voice from a song
A short excerpt of 30 seconds. (version with, version without) will be more than enough ....
Thank you.

Hello, I just got Adobe Audition and I'm trying to remove the vocals from a song to have only the instrumental part. However, when I follow your instructions, I go to Favorites/Remove Vocals but I still hear the background vocals and the music doesn't sound good at all; it’s like I’m listening to it underwater. Could I get some help, and also I don’t know how to set the music to stereo like you mentioned afterwards...
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much.
Salut, can you explain to me how I can completely remove the music so that I only have the vocals?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
Hello
my friend, I did everything you told me, but the problem is not yet resolved because I cannot hear the voice with good quality; on top of that, the music is not completely eliminated. So if you could explain to me how to adjust the settings for the different parameters of the central channel extractor box, and if you want, we can try together on the same song—just give me the name of a song (one that I can easily download or find)
thank you for your cooperation :-)

Hello!
-I used the music "Code Lyoko (English).mp3" because this music is better configured than the others.
-Download "Code Lyoko (English)", be careful not to download the French version, it is not configured as well.
-Thanks again.

Hi my friend, but from what you just told me, I think your solution is a specific case because simply if I ask you to apply this method to another song like for example a song by 'Pink', 'Ramazotti', or 'Dido' .....
you understand me, the result will be different so if you could choose one of these songs or other well-known titles and try to apply your method ..
so I'm waiting for your response, that way we will have found a solution for everyone.
thank you again for your cooperation.

Hi!
-For "Code Lyoko (English)" it's easy, but for the others I tried other effects like "boosting the bass" or "lowering the center channel volume" before removing the voice. I tried it with "Code Lyoko (French)" and with that, it works. You could say that each song has its own rhythm. I worked on the others at the same time to find other solutions.
-It's up to you to test and find a solution.
-Thank you

Hi everyone, so I have Adobe Audition v.3 and I have a little issue:
To import the audio clip, that works, then I click on effects/filter and equalizer (I don’t just have "filter") and from there there is no option:
central channel extractor
:S

Yep, not bad... is it working??? But it also removes the electric guitar and the drums from Cinderella by Téléphone!
After multiple adjustments, I've concluded that it's impossible to remove ONLY the vocals!
So unless you're a magician, ccmnino, stop bothering us!

After reading a bunch of nonsense, I feel compelled to share my response.
It is perfectly possible to remove a voice from a music track with Adobe Audition... as long as you don't have a musical ear and don't mind sound distortions. Indeed, the voice is not completely muted and the instrumental side suffers quite a bit as well. In the end, it's doable, but the result is absolutely mediocre. I've been using this software for years for recording because I find it more convenient (and especially cheaper) than Cubase, and I know it inside out, so I challenge anyone to turn a song into an instrumental version without it being a torment for the ears. It's absolutely impossible.

It's not hard if you just want to keep the instrumental of a song, there are websites that do it.
So if some sites do it, it's because it's possible since everyone can share their remixes on this site. So here's the link, it will prove to some that IT'S POSSIBLE!!

the only problem is that I have effects in Adobe Audition but I don't have filters and I don't have a central channel extractor.
do you have another solution to remove the vocals from a song?
thank you very much but I am sure we can remove the vocals from a song....
It works!!
