Opendisc on CD

Solved/Closed

Hello everyone. I bought a CD and it has autorun on it, which means that when you want to open the CD, it launches a player. The problem is that I would like to put songs from the album onto my USB stick so I can listen to them on the train, but I can't because it launches the player every time. How can I remove it or bypass it? Thanks for the help and have a great day.

In fact, it's quite simple; you just need to open Media Player, click on the "Rip" tab, then select the CD drive, and normally the tracks will be available.

Well done Tom. Your method works perfectly for copying the content from the CD to the hard drive and is really simple.
It’s then easy to listen to or burn the tracks from the CD.
I carried out this method with a CD by Hélène Ségara that I bought legally from the store, which I couldn’t listen to on my PC, OPENDISC blocking the playback. Thank you.

opendisc is a piece of junk that wants to make us believe we're close to the artist. to open the cd (start) then (workstation) once in the drive ex wmp do a bit of exercise to extract the thing. it took me a while to figure it out, I even had ideas of revenge. lol.

The opendisc is not an anti-copy protection. It is legal to make a copy of one of our discs in mp3 format for personal use only. If it didn't work with WMP, it's because it recognizes it as a data CD. I recommend using another software like cdex. It is free and works very well with the opendisc.

Here is the link where you can download it.

Well done, you just have to stop buying discs like I do,

and if no one buys CDs don’t worry they will take their crap away.

Sixty percent less on their revenue and then you've got them by the balls.

Hello,
I copied an opendisc with CDex, which worked well, but the problem
is that when I listen to the songs, the sound crackles. So I would like to know how to remedy this, please?

Switch to Winamp. It's free, efficient, and it handles music very well.

Hello,

I'm having the same issue with a CD I BOUGHT by Renaud (Rouge Sang), I can play it with the Philips MCM 760 hi-fi system.

Impossible to read the CD on Windows (XP Service Pack 2) & Linux (Mandriva 2008.1 & Ubuntu 8.04)?

How can I fix this playback problem?

Hello,

But that doesn't fix the problem.

How to read this type of file, protected Ok, but impossible to Listen => Null

I support copyright protection to have QUALITY songs and singers.

However, blocking the LISTENING of music CDs => I say NO!!!!

Winamp => ok But on LINUX ?????
http://www.winamp.com/player

linux => Free & Open is moving to a paid model

Hello,
I bought a Superbus CD (pop'n gum)
that can be read with opendisc.
I would like to put it on my MP4 or MP3,
I managed to transfer other opendisc CDs to my MP4,
and now I can't get this one to work.
What should I do?

Dear Sir or Madam,

Opendisc is not a copy protection system, but a free tool that allows you to access a private site about the artist where you will find exclusive bonuses.

Registration for Opendisc is not mandatory and does not limit in any way the listening or exporting of the album to mp3.

If you encounter issues playing your CD in your audio player (home/car) or have difficulties using the application, we advise you to consult one of the technical notes at the following address:

http://www6.opendisc.net/?tdfs=1&kw=open+source+software&term=OpenDisc%20Knowledge%20Base%20Software&term=Remote%20Music%20Collaboration%20Software&term=Help%20Desk%20Support%20Ticket%20System&backfill=0

Best regards,

The Opendisc® Team.

Opendisc... next time I'll pay attention to what I buy. Really terrible explanation for accessing our purchase!

Windows Media Player can't find the audio tracks, and when burning, you also can't extract just the audio tracks...

Could this be the end of pirated MP3s?
