Toadette in Mario Kart Wii. Solved/Closed

Hello everyone,

I've scoured forums, guides, and everything you can think of to unlock Toadette in Mario Kart Wii. I even saw that there was a thread on this site to unlock all the characters in MKwii, but alas! it doesn't work.

I read that you need to win 1000 victories in the CWF championship or play on all 32 tracks in Time Trials. Since I don't have time to win 1000 times (I'm around 400 or so), I completed the 32 Time Trials. Along the way, I saw that if I unlocked the 32 super ghosts, I would get the Mii outfit B. Well, that's what I did; I unlocked the super ghosts on all tracks, and I got neither Toadette nor the Mii outfit B. I just finished the game this afternoon. All gold cups, and at least one star on each in 50cc, and still no Toadette or Mii.

Please help me,
Toadette is my favorite character!!!

I have Toadette, you just need to try the 32 tracks in Time Trial mode on the Wii, and then you turn off your Wii and launch the game, and you'll have Toadette. No need to win 100 races online.

To unlock Toadette, you need to get a ghost in each time trial, and once you finish, go back to the license selection screen, pick yours, and it should normally unlock Toadette
If it doesn't work, it means you might have a bug in your game.

Exactly! As I was explaining in what I just told, it's not working. However, in some forums, they talk about alternative solutions... Does anyone know any? (I never would have thought the word bug could be so mean.)

I did the same thing as you, but instead of getting Toadette, I got Baby Luigi, Birdo, and Funky Kong. I have all the characters except Toadette. What should I do?

Slut!! In fact, you see with Birdo, you had to do courses, well it's actually a time trial. Normally, you should unlock the B outfit and Toadette at the same time!! There you go @=

I also love playing Mario Kart Wii, and I want to unlock all the characters to finish the game.
However, I can never finish on time in time trials.
Yet, this morning, with my cousin, I finished the game and I have ALL the characters. I won them without doing time trials...
Is that normal??

LOL, to get Toadette it's not necessary to restart, just go back to the screen and put your license back in.

lately I've only been playing online, I haven't done anything special, I haven't won more races than that and I unlocked it... I think it's simply part of the game's progression, or when you've played a certain number of times (just like with karts and other characters)

I also had the same problem as you ... indeed, to unlock Toadette you have to beat 9 developer ghosts, then you turn off the Wii and turn it back on, and now you've unlocked Funky Kong + Cannon-Propelled Kart. Next, go complete 12 tracks in time trial mode. Oh, but what do I see? Dry Bones (which you unlock by racing 12 tracks and beating 6 ghosts) then, go win the Special Cup in 100 cc and 150 cc. And there you go, Toadette. Good luck!
