Hello everyone. I am a network admin in a company, and I have set up SYNCBACKSE for daily backups with scheduled tasks. Everything works except for one or two that show in the LAST RESULT column either: 0xffffff97 or 0xffffff95
So I can't see where this might be coming from. I am on Win2k3 R2, and there is nothing on the server except a print server.
Thank you for your help
Best regards

Hi!
I installed the same software as you and... I have exactly the same error (0xffffff97). Have you found a solution since you posted your message?
Thanks for your information

Let's dig up a topic from two years ago... I am a SyncbackPro user on a Win2003 file server and I came across the same problem.
The error 0xffffff97 occurs when scheduling a task with credentials different from those used to create the associated profile attempts to execute (according to the publisher: https://help.2brightsparks.com/support/solutions/articles/43000335712
So either use the credentials of the account used to log in and create the profiles, or use another scheduling method.

Hello everyone, I had the same problem, I found the solution myself:
in the Windows Task Scheduler:
- double click on the task with the error 0xFFFFFF97
- go to the Actions tab
- double click on the scheduled action
- in the "Add arguments (optional)" field, there is something like this: Files (x86)\2BrightSparks\SyncBackFree\SyncBackFree.exe -m "Sauvegarde_0_PROJETS_temps reel" --> make sure that the part "Sauvegarde_0_PROJETS_temps reel" is written with EXACTLY the same characters as the corresponding profile name in SyncBack.
That's it, for me, I had syntax errors, now it's OK.
I hope this helps you.
