Hello,
recently I opened the lamp compartment to check its references
and at the same time I took the opportunity to remove it and clean it
since then I have a dark triangle in the top left corner of the screen
I haven't found any information about it that's why
hoping you can shed some light on this, thank you
the lamp is fine and works very well
no error messages
I’m thinking it might be a calibration or adjustment issue, but what????
thank you

Hello,
I am writing to you because I have a problem with my Thomson Scenium 50DLY644.
I changed the bulb yesterday, and when we try to turn it on, the indicator light in front blinks red. The fan and the bulb do not turn on.
Thank you for your help!

Hello Nicolas,
the problem with the dark spot on a DLY644 comes from the light concentrator whose mirrors have tilted and come loose. This happens again; you need to disassemble the light engine of the unit. I've done it many times successfully; the final adjustments are a bit more delicate. This way, we can take the opportunity to do a thorough cleaning of the mirrors, color wheel, fans, etc., and get the unit back to like new with all its brightness.
If you need more information or a disassembly procedure, send me an email. Best regards, Michel

Hello
Pixel41 I have a little question!
I have a Thomson Scenium 50 DLY 644 projector!
I changed the bulb for the second time! The first time, two years ago, everything went well!
This time, after turning the TV back on, I have a dark horizontal band of 5 to 10 cm.....
Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?
Thank you in advance
PF

Thank you for your quick response!
I don’t have a triangle in the corner but a banner....across the entire width of the screen at the top!
Fortunately, I just realized that the device is still under warranty... I had taken the extension
Phew!!
Thank you.

OK, Fred, the last message was addressed to PEPS and to you. I replied to you in another forum, and this should be sorted out.

Hello, you can contact me this week before I leave for vacation
at: pixel41@orange.fr or at 06.88.40.17.71, no worries, the light concentrator is being redone.

Good evening PIXEL 41,
I own a DLP 542, I changed the lamp last March and the rear light is working well.
But for the past few days, the light has been fluctuating at times, even flickering for a few seconds then returning for a few minutes before starting again. It doesn't do this when cold; it happens after about ten minutes.
If you have any idea what the problem might be, thank you for shedding some light on it.

Hello NINI31, this is due to the plastic magnifying lens that burned with the dust and heat from the lamp.
You need to disassemble the optical block to access it and polish it with quadruple zero steel wool, auto polish (cotton soaked) + elbow grease and patience + brushes and a vacuum cleaner to thoroughly clean the unit and fans.
Send me your email at: pixel41@orange.fr and I will provide you with the method photos. Best regards, Michel.

Good evening, your post has the issue with the light concentrator whose 4 small mirrors have come off. By sending me an email, I will send you the method.

Hello,
my lamp has blown and I've replaced it, but when I turn my TV back on, I get sound but no picture; the lamp lights up for 2 seconds and then turns off. Does anyone have a solution??
Thank you in advance.
