Hello,
I would like to know why I have folders and files that are written in blue. How can I change them to black?
I would like to understand why
I await your response
Thank you

The blue files are compressed files (either the folder is compressed / or Windows has compressed them to save space)
There are also green files, which are encrypted files.
To disable the colors, you need to go to the Explorer options.
See you!

Good evening,
These files are compressed files. They help save space on your hard drive.
To make them available, simply decompress them by clicking or double-clicking on them.
Best regards
Kokliko

Thank you for replying.
Once opened and closed, don’t they turn black?
(I know that clicking or double-clicking opens them, but normally, once closed, they revert to black).
Unless Anonyme (hello to him, by the way) is right and your problem lies within the options of the explorer.
See you later!

Your files are compressed by default due to an option choice that determines this type of storage on your hard drive partition.
It's simple, right?!
Right-click each highlighted folder, properties, advanced, uncheck the box (compress content to save space on the HDD)
And to remove this option from your disk once and for all:
Open the target disk, go to the organize tab, click properties, uncheck the box (compress this drive to save space...)
I forgot to mention that this procedure is done on Windows 7; I don’t know about other systems!!!
I hope I was at least helpful to other people with the same problem, considering that the question is quite old, and you probably resolved it by now.

To respond to Kokliko, if I click or double-click on the file, it opens automatically. It's not in a zip folder; these are normal folders that are written in blue
And to respond to Anonyme: What do you mean I have to go to the options in the explorer???
Thank you for replying.
