Issues with entreparticuliers.com

I must have messed it up because I opened a discussion that was closed only because I said I couldn’t find a discussion on the entreparticuliers site that I believe I saw on THIS forum. I was asked to cite my sources and since I didn’t do so within 24 hours (well, I wasn’t behind my computer!) oops, discussion closed!

But there are sources, and I will therefore cite them!!!!

If you need to post a real estate sale ad, read the investigation by QUE CHOISIR (Que CHOISIR site, search: real estate) which reports problems with the site entreparticuliers.com.

If you want to read testimonials from people who have used this site, you can find them at: www.ralblog.com/entreparticuliers
or at
www.aufeminin.com (search the forums then for the occurrence "entreparticuliers")
or at
www.e-dream.fr/img/60million.gif where you will find an article from 60 millions de consommateurs that shows that this company has had "strange" business practices for a long time. 60 millions even talks about the abusive use of bank cards, tricks, scams....

Did I do it right this time?
I haven't even mentioned all the blogs that talk about it, but it seems to me that if this information can save hundreds, even thousands of euros, it's worth reading them.

Hello.
I also got scammed by the website entreparticulier.com.
In June 2009, I listed my house for sale on their site, paying 160 euros by credit card for 3 months; my ad was supposed to be prioritized at that price. However, today my house hasn't sold, and there have been no calls from potential buyers, but the worst part is that for a year, 165 euros have been deducted from my account. My emails and phone calls go unanswered.

My house has been on sale without success for a year. Entreparticuliers.com just refunded me the full amount of my payments (€1980) in the week following the submission of my property statement (which I obtained very easily in less than a week from the "Land Registry" service at the tax office in my main town.
As far as I'm concerned, everything went strictly according to the terms of sale......It's just a matter of properly understanding them!

Just a quick question... when we notice wrongful deductions... do we let it go for a year by just sending simple emails or do we immediately file an opposition?? There might be an error from the site but also a huge blunder from the client... not to offend you. Afterwards, we complain on forums... anyway... I was just passing through...

Thank you for the information. I read the blogs, it's mind-blowing.
Today I also read an article in Les Echos stating that this site is in a lawsuit with PAP, Se Loger, and FNAIM. They allegedly stole databases or something like that.
The irony is that it's on TV, that's where I saw it. It smells fishy!
I'm going to post my ad elsewhere.
Thanks again for the information.

Yesterday I received a call telling me there was someone interested in my house and he told me for 15 minutes everything about my house. And to finish, if I wanted to schedule a visit, I had to pay over 385 euros..
I told him no... and he was almost insulting...
What can we do about this scam?

Hello,

I just read the discussion and indeed, the site entreparticuliers has made a name for itself.

Myself working in real estate at Mapetiteagence, we have received a lot of negative feedback from very unhappy clients. Unfortunately, this harms all businesses (like ours, yes yes ;) !!!) in the sector, and conveys a very poor image of real estate services to individuals.

Have a great day+++

The refund was also processed for me without any issues... and believe me, I really thought after 9 months that I would never get it because one of the competitors who contacted me by phone to have me list my house on their site assured me that I could forget about the refund!

Hello

I actually posted an ad for free, they came to pick me up to publish with them, and I said no... I’ll give you a thousand guesses, they copied the ad and put it on their site without my consent.

I received an email saying following our conversation blah blah blah... I was furious. I disabled the ad three times, I said NO three times and they keep going...

I find that between individuals uses methods that are more than questionable!!

Regards.

entre particuliers.com contacted us yesterday... offering a contract for 89 euros... when I went to view the ad, I realized that they had literally copied my ad from Le Bon Coin.... it's impossible to add photos without paying an additional fee of 165 euros....

Having contacted my legal advisor, he told me that under no circumstances were we bound by phone, there is a legal text that specifies it, ARTICLE L121-27 of the Consumer Code.

They display neither the phone number nor the email address, yet they tell us that there are 180 readers of our ad, but not a single call. Ultimately, they've taken a bit of our money. I'll leave it to you to qualify such an act!!! Jean

Absolutely agree!!!
It’s indeed a real scam...!
I went through them until an agency told me it was a completely worthless site... In three months, not a single call from interested people, not even an email... I signed up with their competitor kindly indicated by the agency, with the same photos and the same selling price as the crooks... One to two calls a day, I sold my house in a month, three buyers even fought over it in the end and kept raising the prices by 10,000 each morning!
I was the one who said stop...
Well, the scammers had the nerve to call me to demand the last installment of 145 and I told them there was no way I was paying since there hadn’t even been the slightest hint of a result from their side!
I’m waiting for them to put me in litigation so I can sue them for lack of results since their competitor has, indeed... The proof!!!

On October 28, 2013, I published a sale announcement for my apartment. On November 3, my apartment having been sold that week by the agency VPNI, I exercise my right of withdrawal within the seven-day period. I submit my withdrawal by email as proposed in their general conditions... they acknowledge receipt, and I even have a consultant who calls me for confirmation.
Well, today, November 12, I realize that my bank account has just been debited 89 euros... this company is a true gang of criminals, and without contact from them by the end of the week, I will file a complaint with the mediator in my department.

No need to pay! I put my house up for sale on leboncoin and then took it down. It’s still listed on entreparticuliers.com, even though I haven't had any contact with that site. I wonder what it might be hiding.

I found out today because an agency called me, even though the ad has been off leboncoin for a week!

I just read your post Etienne75, thanks for the info! Luckily, there are other sites like Pap.fr, the best one, or Immobilieretparticuliers.com.
