I think we all have the same problem with the image freezing but thankfully there are sometimes moments of calm, it’s not continuous, at least not for me yet I’m on version 10 of Windows Media Player
I have the same problem. Just a few days ago, I could watch videos almost without issues (i.e. without slow streaming), and then it started to freeze the images from time to time during playback, and now it's almost constant, meaning that for one video I get 20 seconds of image at the beginning and then the image freezes and I only have sound, and eventually the image may restore two or three times during playback regardless of the length of the video, only to freeze again almost instantly.
Whether I use IE7 or FF, it's the same. I just updated Windows Media Player to WMP11, but it still doesn't work.
I tried resetting IE, but it didn't change anything.
Does anyone have a solution?
Luuna
Hi, well it's the same for me, and I have no idea what to do!! So, if someone knows what to do, please let us know :'(
I have the same problem; I have sound but the image freezes at variable points. However, I've tried with Mozilla and IE, and all my software is up to date. I'm using Vista.
WELL, when I watch a series on M6 Replay, at the very beginning it works fine, but after 2 or 3 minutes the video is reversed and completely green; and there's no way to get rid of it!!

I'm on Linux so nothing at all anyway to see:
"super granny poor thing educates the kids of others who are unable to be parents Oh yeah, there's that thing with 2 chicks who come and clean for lazy slobs, who live in a dump, pathetic!! "thing express" or 20 idiots crossing a continent with €1 a day, yeah sure and the marmot wraps the chocolate as well!!! and the cherry on top "the new disgrace" where a bunch of morons think they're the new Willem pfff!! not to mention the crap in the morning like "the singer we're looking for is married to Laetitia, has a daughter named Jade, a son named David and another daughter named Laura who is this singer the first one to find out wins €1000??? damn the level arf!! and to top it all off the eternal American series! Well with that what do I put for you!! I'd rather have a good evening with friends than watch M6's crap on my computer...

Excuse me, the political forum and the topic "life sucks, consumerists are all idiots and I am so much better than you, proof is that I don't watch M6, I have friends, I am on Linux, I eat 5 fruits (organic) a day, I ride my bike, I poop in the backyard to save the planet" is next to ... if you love the smell of your own farts, good for you, but here we are supposed to solve a problem ...
Well, I have exactly the same problem: the sound is good and the image freezes... I think the concept is not bad, but M6 still has a lot of work to do to improve the quality!!
I have the same problem as you, I wanted to watch an episode of a series that I missed and I have sound but no image, yet I have Internet Explorer as my browser and I have the latest version of the media player (11), I am on Windows Vista. The forum says that the problem is solved, what is the solution? Thank you for helping me, I absolutely need to watch the re-broadcast!!
Lolotte
For me, the solution was to uninstall WMP 11 for version 10 and then reinstall version 11. And there, miracle!!! M6 replay worked properly without having to do anything else!!!
To respond to Lolotte, how did you do it? Did you completely uninstall LWP11? Then did you reinstall 10? (Where?) Please, thank you for replying to me.
"The forum says the issue is resolved, what is the solution?" -> Only the author of the discussion can check this box, in principle. But since it doesn't seem to be ludo who did it, I'm unchecking it because it is clearly false.
For me, I solved my issue somewhat like lolotte did during the renewal of my antivirus (Norton Internet Security 2008). Before, I had several problems (emails not received, videos on the Internet impossible to watch with WMP 11, several radios unlistenable, etc...) and then, as if by magic, everything got fixed at once. I'm on XP, so check if there is something blocking on that side under Vista. Then make sure that all your updates are correct.
"I absolutely need to watch the replay!!" -> "I need to", it’s not really an absolute necessity, one should put things into perspective a bit, right! ;-)

Ziggurat, How did you renew your antivirus? I have Norton Internet Security too, and it launches "Symantec", telling me that my subscription has expired, and then when I try to renew it, it's a paid service. Can you explain it to me?
Yes, it's paid: ( I renew NIS every year upon the expiration of my one-year subscription. To renew NIS, I bought the box at a supermarket (I prefer to have the CD) and besides, it was cheaper than on their site! But you can also do it online if you want. It's here: https://fr.norton.com/
Although Symantec and its products are quite criticized, I have been using it since I got a PC. I received a free version limited to three months, I believe, when I bought my computer in 2004. At the end of that period, I was infected by many viruses, which made me question the protection of my computer. Not knowing anything at the time, I decided to continue with Norton/Symantec which, for the use I make of my computer, is sufficient for now.
I know that Vista seems very secure, but you still need a proper firewall and antivirus. There are good free ones here: http://www.commentcamarche.net/telecharger/logiciel 4 securite . However, this may have nothing to do with the visibility issue on the M6 Replay site. I just noticed this, but I must say that since I formatted my PC last autumn, it has "unlocked" a bit. The update of my subscription has only fixed these few bugs, that's all, as before it was working perfectly fine.

To uninstall WMP 11, I went to the control panel, Add/Remove Programs. When I clicked on remove WMP 11, a message appeared telling me it was reinstalling WMP 10 instead of completely removing version 11. I let it happen.... Then I re-downloaded version 11 from the Microsoft website.
Well, I'm not going to move the debate forward, but I see that uninstalling WMP and then reinstalling it worked for others besides me. So since I did that, twelve days ago (see my message above), I haven't had any issues with M6 replay. So I really think it's a track worth exploring for those who haven't looked that way yet. Good luck to them.
Note that I'm running on XP and not Vista, I don't know if that makes a difference...
For the re-broadcast of Kyle XY (since M6 Replay isn't working), I searched and found a site. Go to: http://goodsites.oldiblog.com/?page=lastarticle&id=1253739/ Click on the episode you want and then copy the URL, and you'll be able to watch it. There you go.
