Delete favorites in Freebox

Question

Hello, I have a little problem (nothing serious;).

I have quite a few favorite channels on my Freebox, it's pretty handy for quickly accessing my favorite channels, but I would like to delete a few of them, and well, I don't really know how to do that :s

I tried pressing the button with a little red cross, but to no avail..

Could you please provide me with the steps to follow? :)

ps: I have a Freebox V4

On my Freebox Crystal, it worked (after doing it dozens of times)
for the 4 C+ channels: families, Cine, etc.

Thanks to Canal + and Freebox for trying to force the sale.
I also got stuck on the screen: subscribe to C +,
impossible to get out without paying even after turning off and back on, I had to reboot, PHEW...

Reminder:
-position yourself on the favorites mode (blue FREE button)
-select the channel you want to remove (without entering it)
-press the INFO button on the
remote control 3 times very quickly AND then quickly
press the UP directional button

-normally you should see the channel info menu appear
where the favorites management is located.
-select FAVORITES then select "remove from favorites"

You need to press the info button on the remote, go to favorites while on the channel you want to remove and press OK. In fact, it's the same as adding. Pressing it again removes the little heart on the left.

Define your favorite channels

In order to avoid tedious channel flipping among the dozens of channels in the Freebox TV bouquet, you can create a list of your favorite channels. To do this, press the Info button on your remote and navigate to Favorites using the arrow keys, then confirm by pressing OK.

Select Add to your favorites and confirm. To display your list, press and hold the blue Free button for more than three seconds. Your channel flipping will then be limited to your favorite channels. To return to the full channel list, press the Free button and select Freebox TV.

Hello,

Same problem intermittently and unpredictably!
Sometimes there’s no problem selecting information and then deleting a favorite for a paid channel that I am not/no longer subscribed to.
Sometimes it’s not possible! The information just displays an option to subscribe! Very frustrating / cumbersome!

Has anyone found a solution?
Does anyone from Free’s customer service look at forums?! :)

yes, it is impossible to delete the channels from the Canal + bouquet 401, 402, 403, etc.

this takes up space for nothing

when you put on channel 401, for example, it displays no service. so
the info button is unavailable. there is no possibility to delete these channels.

we ask the technical service to intervene and provide us with some sort of
solution

Hello everyone, I just had the same favorites issue,
I tried several solutions: resetting the box, resetting the HDD box, etc...
and in the end, none of these "tricks" worked.
After tinkering, I finally found a way,
I was able to remove about ten channels from my favorites.

The process is a bit random, it doesn't always work on the first try,
but it does work:

- go to the favorites mode (blue FREE button)
- select the channel you want to remove
- press the INFO button on the remote 3 times very quickly AND then quickly press the UP directional button

- normally, you should see the channel info menu appear
where the favorites management is located.
- select FAVORITES then select "remove from favorites"

feel free to repeat the process several times, it worked for me

Hello,

I know this topic is over a year old, but for those interested,
I found out how to remove favorites of previously paid channels on Freebox V6:
Go to the channel you want to remove from your favorites,
Click on the red "cancel" box at the bottom,
you will get a black screen,
And at that moment, miraculously, by pressing the menu button, you gain
access to, of course, the menu, and all that's left is to delete the channel.

There you go....
