    Hello,
to open the *.lst files (which are the files from the lightscribe software), I used notepad++ and it's organized a bit like xml...
there you go, I signed up ;)
I also saw these files generated by rippack from bruce heller to indicate during the procedure where the *.vob files are located
Now, I'm looking for how to edit the lightscribe *.lst file which, although "human readable," is still difficult for layer placement because everything is in numbers (a bit like vrml)... see you soon.

    Hello Blanco,

how did you manage to open a .lst file because I've tried everything with Notepad, Excel,... without success. If anyone has a solution please help me. Thank you in advance.

    Hello

I'm encountering the same problem... I have an application that seems to be fed through .lst files. Unfortunately, my research online has not been fruitful...

Could someone explain in more detail what a .lst file is?
What are the differences between a .csv file and a .lst file?

    Thank you in advance

      Hello,

The data in a CSV format is presented on a single line, with values separated by commas (usually).
      fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comma-separated_values

The lst files seem to present the data in a different structured form. It reminds me of ini files and, further down, xml.
I found one on my disk. A file “AdobeFn.lst” listing fonts. They are presented like this:
       %BeginFont Handler:CMapHandler FontType:CMap CMapName:83pv-RKSJ-H Registry:Adobe Ordering:Japan1 OutlineFileName:\83pv-RKSJ-H FileLength:5917 %EndFont

    Hello,

.lst is used by many programs.
It seems that they are lists.
These lists are certainly in text format.
They can then be edited with a simple text editor like Notepad.

The problem is simple. Just open the file with a program like WordPad, Notepad, or Notepad++ and then launch setup or the install.

A delayed response, but I had the same problem and found a solution :)
You can open a *.lst file with Notepad++ (free software)

    Hello,

The .lst files are "List" files.

Could you tell us more about these files (for example, which program they come from?)
