The advantages
The Internet allows us to conduct research quickly and easily to access a nearly infinite amount of information, to communicate with people to discover different cultures, to learn languages, to exchange ideas, and to get news from our loved ones. It also helps us break the routine by watching online content, matches, listening to music, or even downloading software for free.
The disadvantages
The Internet can cause health problems: vision deterioration, psychological issues related to isolation, etc. While it does enable more people to access information, it creates a two-tier world between those who have the means to access it and master its use and codes, and those who do not. Finally, since information is readily available, it does not encourage people to search for themselves but to take ready-made answers found on forums because they prefer convenience ;-)
