Hello,
I have a car amplifier at home, the PCH-2500FX 300W, and I want to make it usable at home.
I bought a transformer that converts 220V to 12V 3 amps. It worked, but not well; when I increase the volume, the sound gets unclear and has interruptions.
I suspect that the problem is related to the amperage, which needs to be more than 3 amps.
I also have 2 speakers, each 150W.
I need help!! I want to listen to music!! :d:d lol
Thanks in advance!!

Hi.
A lot of nonsense in the responses...
An amplifier rated at 300WRMS output means it is capable of delivering 300W to speakers. At 12V, to provide 300W, you need 25 amps. Considering that amplifiers have a rather poor efficiency, let's say 50%. You need a power supply that can provide 50 amps to use the amplifier at its full capacity. 3 amps translates to 36 W of consumption, which is roughly 18 W RMS for the speakers.

However, could you help me determine the output of my amplifier?
Thanks in advance.
