Hello, I bought the Logitech MX 620 Cordless Laser Mouse, it was not working by default on USB 1.0 and USB 2.0 ports (I recently added USB 2.0 ports, as my PC is about 7 years old) on Windows XP SP2.
So I installed drivers here
http://www.presence-pc.com/telecharger/drivers/Cordless-Laser-MX620,1100-11376.html
or here
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/428/2987&cl=en,us?osid=1&file=
But there is no way to make it work.
I disabled/activated it using Device Manager, uninstalled/reinstalled manually or through Windows with no result.
(The mouse seems to work since a built-in "search" button on the mouse, after pressing that button, the "Search Results" window opens)
When adding hardware, it does not complete.
Can someone help me please? I'm totally stuck, I don't know what to do anymore ^^.
Thanks.

Captaintai, thanks for your help but I found the solution, I had tried several types of hardware additions...
Well, it works now, I'll still explain how I did it:
In the "Computer Management," in the "Device Manager" section, I right-clicked on the outdated mouse, then "Update Driver...," selected "Browse my computer for drivers," then "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer," and finally "HID MOUSE," and the driver installation starts.
My mx620 works perfectly.
See you later.

Try starting by updating your motherboard's USB drivers.

Drivers for my motherboard have been updated, but it still doesn't work... (http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-pilote-4566-0-qdi-kudoz-7-a.html)

Have you tried installing the drivers while using a standard mouse and then restarting with the USB mouse?

I just got the "Logitech Deluxe 660 Cordless Desktop" wireless keyboard and mouse. It doesn't work on my Vista computer; I'm being asked to install a driver that wasn't provided. However, it worked perfectly on my old computer running XP.
Thank you to anyone who can let me know where I can find this driver. -
Hello,
I'm also having a problem with my Logitech MX 620 Cordless Laser Mouse.
While using it, the mouse keeps turning off and on repeatedly. The battery light is never on!
I thought about a battery issue, but they are fully charged.
This is the second mouse of this model that I have tested and every time I encounter this problem!
I don’t know what to do anymore!
If someone could enlighten me.
Thank you in advance,
See you soon.
