Hello, I just downloaded a torrent to be able to download movies. My problem is that they are in English and I am terrible at English. I found a website to download the language pack, but it got installed in my downloads folder and I can't get it onto uTorrent. Plus, I am really bad at computer stuff and in English, in one word, I'm really struggling. Could someone nice and patient explain to me simply how to set it to French? Thank you very much!

      Hello, I just read your post on how it works regarding uTorrent in French. I followed your advice and this message appears during the download: unable to load "utorrent[1].ing": invalid torrent file! Since I'm good at English, I don't understand anything! Could you guide me? Thanks in advance.

      Hello, I think I have the solution to your problem with uTorrent.
      You need to download the French patch (for example, from Clubic).
      Once the file is on your desktop, cut and paste it into your uTorrent folder at:
      start (right-click)/explorer/program files/uTorrent
      There, paste your French patch next to the uTorrent icon, then rename the French patch to the same name as your uTorrent file, keeping the .lng extension.
      This should give you two icons like this: one named uTorrent, and another named uTorrent.lng.
      Then all you have to do is restart uTorrent on your desktop, and you'll have it in French.
      If you don't understand, send an email, and I'll try to provide you with a simpler explanation. OK?

    To install the French patch, go to C:\Program Files and drag the patch onto uTorrent....

      I'm desperately trying to set uTorrent to French for the last 2 days but it’s not working
      when I download the patch it’s a zipped folder
      so in any case, whether I leave it as it is or unzip it, it always says access denied when I drag it to uTorrent.exe (even renaming the patch to uTorrent.lng)

      what should I do?
      Can you explain exactly how you do it? By detailing everything because I’m not very knowledgeable about this

    Maybe your torrent is only in English, otherwise a good plan is to download uTorrent 1.1.8 and the site Reload Paradise.
    They are both in French and easy to use; sometimes you have to try again to sign up on Paradise during the following hours. It's free, but make sure to read the rules carefully. The actions they take are deserved. Thank you for them and good luck.

      Pour switch to version 1.8.1 in French, just go to the preferences next to the language where it says "more !!" Click on it, download the French pack, and then drag the file into the uTorrent folder! Restart uTorrent and the issue is resolved!
